Here's a tweet from a Brazilian guy, translated here:

I saw batman vs superman yesterday !!!!

I just interviewed Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Z Snyder, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishbourne, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Holly H, D Lane

There are some photos of the studio WARNER it in my snap where tava recording interviews

About Batman vs Superman ... I can not give spoilers, but I will say one thing: tb tava worried about how it would be and ... TA F**K !!!

Ben Affleck and Cavill so too. snyder found the right tone of the film, as in Watchmen. Lex Luthor very well represented by J eisenb

I need the translation of that translation.

Seems about on par with most other superhero flicks.

Yeah, I think you are right.

The difference is that the cinematography for this movie is so on-point that I am thrown whenever someone speaks and it is barely a step above the normal nonsense.

Not that I will let that bother me too much.

Basically he/she says he/she was worried about it before, but the film is awesome.

"So the conscious was that BVM was a very "meh" movie. They actually used the word meh.

The good parts:
Wonder Woman is great in her limited time. She is a "total badass" and it bodes well for her movie.
Everyone loved her.

Ben Affleck doesn't suck; but he ain't great either. They mostly say the material wasn't really there for him to sink his teeth into.

There's more story than in Man of Steel.

The Knightmare scene was good, and Flash and Aquaman both shined in cameos.

The bad parts:
Henry Cavill is still the same as Man of Steel, he isn't better or worse. Not overly likable.

Nothing happens in the first hour of the movie after a quick scene of Bruce Wayne racing through Metropolis as Superman fights Zod.

The conscious was the following: "Man of Steel fans maybe disappointed by the lack of action...

....Most of the movie and that Luthor's plot boils down to "I'm evil, so I'll create a monster."

People who had issues with Man of Steel liked it better than people who liked Man of Steel, but overall it was not a great movie.

The rating average out of 10 was a 5.5.

The conclusion was that it looks great, but feels hollow.

The prediction is for a huge Thursday/Friday and possibly Saturday depending on word of mouth. It will probably drop off huge from week to week but should be #1 for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3.

Things look good for Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman...

...There were 7 people who watched it.

1 guy gave it a 4.

3 gave it a 6.

2 gave it a 5.

1 gave it a 7. "

Man I can't wait to see Wonder Woman, heard nothing but great things about her.

This came from projector man on IMDB who said movie evaluators are the ones who came in to judge the movie so the theatre could predict their traffic. The head of Regal Cinemas said it was bullshit and such a thing doesn't exist. It was the stupidest thing he'd ever heard.

"consensus"

also, where is that coming from?

edit: Icon with the hookup, thanks. So this is imdb forums bullshit, as evidenced by the basic content-free nature of it, and the inarticulate attempts at sounding knowledgeable.

The head of Regal cinemas laying the smackdown on an imdb bullshitter? The hype is real

The review sounds like it could be real just from content alone, but yeah, this evaluator business sounds like horseshit.

Well then.

So hope remains for Black Adam...

Movie evaluators? Man, people are getting creative now.

That guy got greedy after he legitimately saw the last trailer early. Next projectorman will be reporting back from the Wonder Woman set "not good".

The dialogue seems...dodgy...

What bit? Lex is rather manic (and hammy), but Bruce & Clark was frankly some of the best dialogue I've seen in a Superhero film, Lois pitching a story was decent at worst, and the Bruce/Diana scene was a ton of fun, especially watching her reactions.

Here's where I tell you this is definitely a lie.

And the bold is how I know it is.

People are calling him out on that trailer thing too, apparently. Evidence was found on reddit that others accurately described the trailer before he did. Suggesting that's where he got it from.

Knightmare confirmed to be spread across the movie's runtime and not consolidated to a single sequence

edit: Basically, do not go to imdb/reddit looking for honest reactions until the Tuesday/Wednesday before the film opens. Because 99% of the time, you're just dealing with bored forum posters killing time for a couple hours stirring the chum bucket.

scene = scenes?

The regal VP guy came forward and said there's no such things as evaluators.

edit: looks like icon beat me :3.

Out of all stuff in there you picked up Knightmare?
Well, everything else in there is subjective and actually doesn't indicate anything about the movie beyond a person's own feelings of it. What would be the point in me saying I disagree with a person's feelings about a movie? There are folks out there who don't like The Godfather.

Saying the Knightmare scene is good just stands out because that's not how I'd describe it considering how it happens. It's not a scene for one.

Verendus has seen the movie so he would know what is and isn't bullshit.

Knigtmare scenes suck confirmed.

OK I get your point. For one they are spread out, so that kind of wrong to call it a scene. I would personally go for batman having no material/no plot details and evaluators.

Nvm that, where can I apply? Movie evaluator sounds like an awesome job. See movie, tell the theater they'll make bank (or not) and done??? Yes please.

Someone made that a .gif. Good.

The entire purpose of stuff like CinemaCon is for theater owners to be sold on the financial viability of a studio's upcoming slate. There aren't entire departments full of people who exist solely to screen movies and decide whether a chain should book the movie. That's not even a fucking question, much less for something like Batman v. Superman. The decision to put that on screens was likely made without a single frame of film having been shot, much less shown to anyone, much less secretly screened for a Crack Team of Seasoned Evaluators within the month of release.

The entire thing is built on the idea that

a) you fall for officious sounding things
b) you're not experienced enough to recognize the difference between someone actually being officious and just trying to sound that way
c) you're practiced in the art of confirmation bias.

It sounds like our Projectorman got really cocky.

Well, I felt that was a good point to stop to say what I wanted to since it's quite glaring. But if you read further, then there are other things that stand out such as saying Flash and Aquaman shined in their cameos. I don't see the average person saying that. I know who these characters are (a general awareness at least), and I didn't care about them like that because they're cameos. How does one shine in a cameo exactly? They cater to the same kind of folks who go crazy over the end credits scenes in Marvel movies. People who know more about these characters and are likely anticipating seeing them.

Then he said nothing happens in the first hour. That's bizarre. Whether you like or dislike the movie, it's quite dense, and a fair bit of things happen all the way throughout. Also saying Man of Steel fans might be disappointed by the lack of action is incorrect since the movie has more action sequences than that. There's barely any action in Man of Steel outside of the final act. BvS sets the bar for action in superhero movies. It's considerably better than other comic book movies in that department. If anything, I'd trade some of the action for more character work. Alternatively, the extended cut can just add some in hopefully. There are a lot of outright inconsistent things here upon a closer look.

I really do hope this movie is good, I loved MoS so I'm expecting to at the very least like this movie. The Knightmare sequence is something that's drawn my interest constantly
