Looks pretty cool to me. Like a much sleeker wii u in it's portable form. The local portable MP controller set up looks hilarious though. Those controller halves are the size of a stick of gum

Nintendo finally in board with how to put analogs on a controller the right way, nice.

Concept looks nice. Definitely interested.

Trailer was ok for me. Pretty much what was expected though after all the leaks, so it wasn't really surprising.

Waiting for price now. Hopefully that thing is cheap, otherwise I don't expect that to do amazingly well.

Lovely
I like how it can be used as two SNES controllers.

Wow, that looked more impressive than I thought. That legit looks like it has a chance of breaking through to the mainstream and getting back a portion of the casual gamer. Hopefully it's priced accordingly.

I dunno, looks expensive and don't get the appeal for multiplayer on the go. It's also too big to carry for most, but at least it doesn't look like a FisherPrice toy.

nothing about remote play appeals to me so the gimmick is wasted on me. i just hope it doesn't make its price unreasonable or i'll spend forever waiting for price drops (still don't have a wii u because rofl).

The detachable controllers on the handheld part look tiny. It's gonna kill my enjoyment of the multiplayer-on-the-go experience if my hands cramp up when I play. Still, it was better than the Wii U's reveal. Just need to know the price and specs now.

Isn't the point that you can use whatever controller combination you like?

So you can bring a standard controller with you if you prefer.

The only part of this I'm skeptical about is the small controller bits being awkward, but I'm hoping I can still trust Nintendo on ergonomics

I guess it's too soon to be certain, but it seems like second screen, 3d, and motion controls are basically gone from nintendo products moving forward. Basically, there's no "unique experience" that you can have on nintendo hardware this gen, which is quite a change from the last 10+ years.

only thing bothering me is how sturdy the whole swapping of the different parts will be. I mean I hope its good quality and that nothing loosens up with extensive use.

Yo, that Pro Controller looks SUBSTANTIAL. Also, asymmetrical sticks. You got your regular fucking controller, assholes.
I think it looks pretty good.

Was not expecting the name of "Switch" of all things, but the more I think about it in my head the more I am digging it. I thought it would be called Nintendo Xperience hence (NX).

And just because im on a roll with the negativity, should we be worried there was only 2 3rd party titles shown (if i counted correctly, skyrim / nba).

Giving a side eye to the size of the attachable controllers

The switch huh? We all gonna get the switch no matter how old you are

Looks pretty cool. Glad to see it uses a traditional control scheme. Hopefully it will be powerful enough that we will see at least some third party parity. I'd love to see big AAA titles coming out for 3 systems instead of 2.
