I was very close to buying Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe for $16 in this sale, before realizing the 'Deluxe' edition doesn't include the season pass. In hindsight this should have been obvious (the individual DLC packs are still being released and sold for $15), but I was very close to hitting purchase regardless.

Noticed the same thing with Titanfall 2 as well. A "Deluxe" edition that only seems to add totally trivial shit.

Correct, you have to pay the sub but the game does not require PS+.

Most are both online and in store. Some items are in-store only at this point like the Ghostbusters Level Pack for Lego Dimensions for example.

Only the Level Packs add content, correct?

There's zero reason to get a Team Pack or Fun Pack unless you want that specific characters? Or do they also unlock levels/open world areas/anything else?
