I stopped after beating some dragon on an ice lake. I got pulled away to play something else. I tried going back once, but I couldn't remember how to play, use all the abilities and stuff. So I might have to restart at some point.

You liked this? I thought it was boring a shit and the worst part in the game by far. Just a huge valley with nothing but bosses to find. No real exploration, points of interest, or stuff to discover.

The animations, so goddamn good I could cry. The graphics. The destruction. The sound design (That perfect dodge SWOOSH. The clashing of the weapons) The hit reactions. The particle effects. So fucking elite.

Every boss fight, the animations really stand out. This is not a one off.

When it comes to combat in games, nothing elevates it more than world-class animation work. It simply takes everything to another level.

And theres no one in the business of making character action games doing better animation work than these guys. In fact, I think they're only matched by ND and TLOU2.

Game Science, man, the name couldn't be more fitting.

Also, how the fuck is it possible for someone to be this good at gaming? If you played this game, and fought the Yin Tiger, you know how insane of a video this is. Fucking wow.

Give me something that looks good while accounting for impact, physics, and surrounding geometry and then you'll have something worth posting.

Nope haven't even gotten him past half a bar yet lol.

But I figured out, I need to use the fan, so tonight he'll be dead. He's tough but very fair, i like that you have to have a perfect fight to beat him.

And yes, ONGBAL is by far the best player ive ever seen play an action game . Will be watching that after I finish it

One of the videos leaked about Wukong DLC show wukong with some princess on a white horse (must be Bai Long Ma) riding on top of an enormous lake. Since one of the dlc chapters was supposed to take place in one of the sea dragons palace (not sure if its the eastern dragon palace) It could be a huge open world chapter where you could explore the area around the lake and dive underwater to see the rest of the level. It would have been glorious, but now that game science decided to go the western dev route and work the less they can (cf Yang Qi post on weibo), i don't even know if we will have anything
