What's a reliable strategy when the
Wet Nurse clones herself?
It gets pretty hectic. I beat her but it just left me confused because sometimes it disappeared but I can't tell if it's because I hit it or her.

The clone just acts as a follow up attack to not give you too much time to exploit the opening - once you dodge the first main attack, only go in for a single swipe, then dodge out. It looks scarier than it is.

detailed map of the forbidden woods:

That seems about right.

I finished my first playthrough yesterday, around level 70. Wanted to go completely dark, so I tried to not look up anything, and even ignored bunch of GAFs threads. Anyway, I finished knowing that I missed at least 1 entire area since I didn't know how to get there, but after doing some very brief searching today, turns out I missed at least 3 areas and 2 weapons, and only scratched the surface with Chalice Dungeons.

Already started NG+. Can't wait to not know that I missed half of the game again :P

44 hours in. I'm in N
ightmare of Mensis
. I've killed every optionnal boss. I did the Pthemuru Chalice dungeons depth 1, 2 and 3 (next is defiled or something).

... And I just discovered you can sprint.
Its easy to miss :) I didnt know that holding R2 would result in a charge attack before playing the game maybe 10-20 hours or so.

Does anyone know who I would need to speak with to have my name changed? Is it even possible?

edit: I meant on this site.

Alright everyone, where should I go next?
I just finished up Cainhurst. Nightmare Frontier is done. I know I have some of the Unseen Village left, I've only beaten Paarl there. Where else should I go now?

Just beat the S
hadows Of
Y
harnam
. Found them to be quite easy after a pretty difficult area. Absolutely hate the snake men in the Forbidden woods.

Done with NG+ I should do Calice now, only thing left to do but I don't want, it's boring, I want to do NG++ and go for a third playthrough. Still two things I missed and I kinda want to see :

Arianna giving birth and finishing Eileen's questline

Am I close to the point of no return and will I know when I get there?
I'm
in the lecture hall for the second time (upper floor). I also did the Upper Cathedral Ward but I still haven't opened that door in the basement past two giants in the regular cathedral ward (the place with the nice view) so I feel like I still have some stuff to do. I also heard there's an optional area that's easy to miss and I'd like to find it because I doubt I'll do a 2nd playthrough right away.

I just beat R
om.

Should I go to
Cainhurst, Unseen Village, or Nightmare Frontier
next?

Just wondering which is the easiest/has weakest enemies. I'm lvl 55 btw

Unsee Village, that goes by a new name.

There are
3 endings, right? Did you have to load up your save 3 different times? I really want to finish the story before hitting the Chalice Dungeons, but from what I read, you get to booted to NG+ immediately after finishing the story. Trying to avoid that.

Cainhurst enemies have a lot of health and the boss is fairly hard. NF has poison and frenzy, so have stuff ready for that. I haven't finished up the Unseen Village yet. Out of all those I did NF first.

C
ainhurst is dead easy but the boss. People have trouble with him but you can just endless parry him and he won't ever touch you if you are close and good enough with parrying

welp

I hit the fucking wall. Hard

After dying maybe about 5 times between BSB and Rom (including bosses and optional bosses) Rom took maybe a half dozen tries.

I get to unseen village and just get wrecked over and over and over.

The problem is my playstyle is very slow. I walk almost everywhere until I pretty much have the area down. This has served my well as I can pick my battles and am able to snuff out almost every ambush by hearing or seeing it coming. Obviously if you've been there you know why this no longer works for me. I know what I have to do and I've got
the first two bell maiden areas down. But that 3rd one
NOPE. died maybe 20 times with no real progress or even an idea of what I could do better.

Guess I need to just take a couple days off and come back to it.

I did beat the game twice, first time blind, second time I got everything I needed for the good ending.

I uploaded my save before going for the finale to the PS+ cloud. I got the ending, exited the game, deleted the local save, downloded the uploaded one, got back into the game before finale, got the last ending I was missing

Nah, I ran all the way through NG+3.

What level did you finish the game, and did you grind for levels?

I'm lvl
78
, grinded about
8 levels, gonna grind up to 100

Blood Echo Farming Strategy:

I equip 2 Moon Runes and go to
Lecture Hall 1st Floor
. In one of the side rooms are a ton of enemies. With the Moon Runes equipped, I get 1204 echoes per enemy. Then I kill myself by the lamp by using the
Chikage
's L1 transformation. I spawn at the lamp and my blood stain is right there. One run is about 20k.

I don't even level up anymore, just gonna stay at 87 until I beat the game. I just use this to buy all the armor/weapons that are expensive, and vials and bullets.

Use a bold hunter's mark to warp back to the lamp and the enemies respawn. Faster and easier.

I just beat Y
harnam, The Pthumerian Queen
=) Then i have beaten every boss solo, except
"the true" ending boss, but i havnt attempted that yet.
I'm a bit disappointed that after beating that boss
(Yharnam, that is)
, you
only get the ability to buy Blood Ritual 4. It would be cool if you could get her outfit as well.

By the way, do you need to beat the game
3
times to get all the trophies? I'm wondering if i will wait out for the two remaining trophies
(getting the "true ending" and simply accept death from Gehrman)
that i need until DLC comes out. I did the "mistake" in Dark Souls 2 by playing it a lot, and when the DLC came out, i was at NG+++++ or something, and then i couldnt beat the bosses solo (maybe i managed a few, but far from all of them).

Also, what is the highest damage combo that someone has gotten? I got over 13000 now when doing co-op at a boss
(Ebrietas)
.

Just back up to USB and beat it 3 times.

Fuck the third one. Just run down the stairs. Light lamp, then backtrack there for an item.

Oh no D:
the old lady I sent to the chapel is dead... I found some sedatives in her chair :(
does anyone know why does this happen?

Hey everybody :) I've got everything done and am procrastinating fighting the final battle because I don't want this amazing game to end. Hehe
I legit started a new character instead of finishing off the game on my former one. I think the first Halo is the last game where I intentionally set myself back to play more.

Yes, yes, yes!!! See ya Forbidden Woods!
Expected the battle to be harder, but beat the boss(es) on my first try. The Axe is truly OP :)

Could be because you
Invited the guy with bandages on his eyes to the chapel. You know, the guy you met on Forbidden Woods.

Need some major help at what I think is the final boss.
Gehrman is kicking my ass. I can only even make progress with the Holy Blade but even that doesn't make much of a dent. Taking it slow works for a while but once he hits that third phase where he can't even be staggered I'm totally fucked.

gun parry him. Learn his moves. He can be deceiving. He's not as predictable as most boss, but you can learn his patterns.
