Is she dead or just gone?
Did you see her body?

And coop not working sucks ass.
Dead as a doorbell for me. I never figured out who/what killed her, and Agatha was so broken up I felt bad for him. I suspect that crazy ass nun but I didn't want to murder her on just a suspicion.

I just beat R
om.

Should I go to
Cainhurst, Unseen Village, or Nightmare Frontier
next?

Just wondering which is the easiest/has weakest enemies. I'm lvl 55 btw

I got
grabbed by the spooky dude and sent to the Nightmare Frontier.
How do I get to the other areas?

I lol'd so hard to
those crows with dog heads.
Also the bossfight against
Micolash
was pretty awesome.

I died there twice. Not against him but one was a suicide run for an imp and the other I think I was not paying attention and ganked by skellies (no thats not true, I fell to my doom as I thought it was the boss area lol). I guess it was original but I didn't really enjoy it.

Love how there's so many secret areas and bosses in this game. You could almost literally miss half the game on your first playthrough.

I'm level 73 now, I figured that was high enough lol.

That's definitely high enough, with a +7 weapon you should be able to gank him.

For the
1st phase, when he casts the spells
you can just dodge the big ball spell and then try and quickstep to his side and get a few hits in, then quickstep away. It should be fairly easy, he doesn't do anything particularly unfair
For the
2nd phase
always destroy his sword when he plants it, you can just target it and shoot it. The rest is just regular dodging and punching his back/sides. It can seem counter-intuitive but try and dodge into his scythe when he does the swipes, if you dodge into it you can get a few attacks in when he's doing the other swipe. Also, when he does his flying attack that's another good moment to get him.

I died to him a few times yesterday, today when I came back I managed to kill him in like 3 tries. Overall, I think he was my favourite boss so far. Plus, once you kill him
there's a pretty cool bit of lore as a reward, and some cool armour too!

I had some good, but frustrating sessions this weekend!

I defeated
Darkbeast Paarl
, the
One Reborn
, and
Martyr Logarius
. The first two were cake. The first laughably so. I think I was a bit OP for that one. The second was similarly dispatched with little concern. The third though...what a turd-cicle. It took many, many attempts before I realized his pattern, and came up with a strategy.

Now I'm in N
ightmare Mensis
, which is proving to be a difficult area. I'm soul level 84 or so. Having a good time, though I'm not sure how many bosses I have left until the end.

Finally got to that boss everyone seems to reference
rom

Haha man. Who enjoyed this fight. Just died on first time through so will try again but it looks more tedious than fun. Like you'll die out of repetition boredom before anything else

Are there any secret weaknesses?

Well there's blood everywhere, but her body isn't there. I really don't know what happened.

That SOB...
should have sent him to the clinic...
should I dispose of him?

You probably should. I saw the warning signs other players had left when I first encountered him
and guessed that he should be killed, but decided to let him come anyway, since it was my first playthrough and I wanted to know.
I do know that while you progress through the game,
he'll keep killing everyone inside the chapel and gives you Beast Pellets when you talk to him afterwards, before eventually leaving for good.

I'm surprised Yoshichan is not in this.
Too busy being at a Bloodborne LAN (since three days ago)!

Just like the spiders it is weak at the sides

Am I about to face the final boss?
Top of whatever castle is named. Giant full moon. Crying baby in carriage. In large circle arena.

So I'm through four bosses and one chalice dungeon. This game has basically revived my love of gaming that has been dead for like a year. I love everything about it. I just feel so much wonder and amazement playing this game. I...am so happy when I play it. I desire to play it, to start it up, to progress, in a way I haven't felt in so long. When I'm not playing it, I am wanting to play it. And when I'm playing it, I'm thinking about all the things I want to do. Hats off.

Ignore his minions and be safe with your attacks and dodges.

yeah I'm hitting him there. But of course he had that one shot nearby explosion so my first pass at him was run, couple of swipes, then run away. Eventually died cuz it was so slow so I tried squeezing a few mar only to get tanked by a spider

Thanks guys.
a boss though? Not sure if I want to go in on my own. Hate to do that on my first try but tired and want to one shot what's ahead of me bad.

Could someone please explain to me the point of having the Lost and Uncanny variants of weapons? I know they have a different rune slot configuration, but that's what I don't really get.

As far as I can tell, most of the attributes you would want to stick in one slot type, an equivalent can be had in another too. The only difference I'm really seeing would be regarding +bolt damage. It seems easier to find in Waning. They all have some kind of +AR, +Phys, +Fire. The regen gems are pretty useless in later Chalice Dungeons, and damage stacking gets you the most for the slot.

Is there an agreed pvp level around or doesn't it matter this time and we all just level to max level?

Nothing concrete yet. Many were initially stopping at 100, but a lot are saying that's just not enough for various reasons and that 120 should be the minimum. I don't even really care about the PvP caps, but intentionally cap myself in these kinds of games anyway for other playthroughs.

So im confused i did the lower pthumera chalice twice now and no fourth layer? am i missing something?

Edit : apparently it is a bug...and i have to redo the chalice...this chalice shit is making me dislike this game, lol

Hey guys im stuck at the moment, about where to go next.

so i read on the bloodborne wiki that you cant visit the Hypogean Gaol after you kill rom the spider. As i have just killed amydgala, but i dont know where to go next now.

I read that the dark pearl beast is in the Hypogean Gaol, is he a main boss that you need to kill to progress through the story line ? as how am i meant to kill him if i cant vist the Hypogean Gaol anymore???

Can't say I'm a fan of the
Nightmare Frontier
- this place really isn't fun for me, lol. Poisoned swamps that slow you down, getting boulders thrown at you from across the map for a OHKO, and those stupid wolves that can combo you to death.

He's optional.

the blades of mercy are OP as shit. i love how you output so much damage even with base attack stats as long as you level up weapons. all of my stats have gone into vit and end and i still slay stuff with ease

Yep... It was a big mistake wasn't it? :/ oh well there's always NG+
According to the Wiki,
he is standing outside the Chatedral Ward, so i assume that you can kill him. You dont really lose out on much if the old woman die though. She just gives you sedatives, but those can also be bought at the Hunter's Dream shop.

if you miss that event you'll meet it later on

micolash
is such a joke. One shot him. Did spend 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get to him in phase 2 though, ugh.

the pvp is unbalanced crap at the moment so dont worry about it. if nothing else just max out now bc invaders get a huge health and end reduction and find themselves outnumbered to boot almost every time. just try and level up as much as you can to stand a chance.

What's the average level for pvp again?
The big streamers seem to have agreed on 110 for the meta. But there's not that many people there yet. 70 is a pretty good level to invade at right now

Matchmaking is level based so you don't want to overlevel else you'll never find anyone

idk with how huge the invasion penalties are i can't imagine bothering to invade without being at 50/40 to be anywhere near decent footing with the host.
