at the series finale of breaking bad, walt will finally face his greatest adversary yet
sub zero
I'm so sorry, I'll leave now.
The first two clips from Season 5, Part II have aired on AMC
They're only about 5 seconds long each, and show next to nothing, but they're certainly getting me hyped. The quality of these YouTube versions is pretty terrible; if someone finds a better quality version, I'll update the link.

Can't wait for DAT comicon trailer.
The BrBa panel is the 21th, we have to wait 2 more weeks. Is that for real? When is comic con?
July 21st
"Breaking Bad"
11:15-12:15
Hall H
Who: Stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, R. J. Mitte and Bob Odenkirk, plus creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan.
Lowdown: "Breaking Bad" was a late Comic-Con adopter, but the show has been well received down in San Diego and a Sunday panel celebrating the end of its Emmy-winning run should bring a passionate crowd to Hall H, even if lots of those people will actually just be hanging around for "Doctor Who" afterwards.
Chicken nuggets w/ franchAny other suggestions?
Chicken nuggets w/ franch
- Eggs with bacon in the shape of our ages
was in the same dilemma, ended up renting the DVDs from blockbuster. halfway through watching them now, so far quite a slow burn.So what's the best way to watch these if you don't have AMC? Will they be on Amazon Video or iTunes or anything?
And my all-time favorite:
So my friends and I want to have a breaking bad party for the final episode.
So far on the food list we have...
- Pizza thats not cut
- Dipping Sticks
- Blue rock candy
- Eggs with bacon in the shape of our ages
- Bucket of fried chicken
Any other suggestions?

bangladesh's post makes it hard for me to not watch those teasers.
In addition to making me uncomfortable.
They are less than 10 seconds with no dialogue, hardly spoiler.
Edit So the Boxcutter episode, why does Gus kill his own henchman? Was it to make a point? Or because he was seen? Or because he felt he ruined a batch with his amateur cook?
I'm driving through ABQ in a few days... I think I'm gonna do a stop at a few places.
- Walts house
- The car wash
What else though?

Half the people in this show aren't good people. :lolIts wierd how my perception of the characters has changed somewhat. In my first watch I found Skylar more and more intolerable as the series progressed. Part of it was that her character was kinda annoying but mostly because everything else that happens around her is way, WAY more interesting. That hasnt changed much but I think Skylar actually improves over the series now. Season 1 and 2 Skylar is terrible but 3 onwards I actually like her character. I still dont think she is a good person but I see the justifications for the things she does.

Doing a rewatch and trying to catch details I might have missed. When and how does Walt decide on "Heisenberg"? First mention I can find is 1x06 when he meets Tuco for the first time.
I am rewatching this and almost up to the end of Season 4.

Jesse on the other hand (on my first viewing of the series) I always felt like he was the victim of terrible circumstances (and Walter to a certain degree) but rewatching it, I just feel like he becomes a terrible, terrible person over the second season onwards. He gets a girl who had stayed clean for almost 2 years hooked back on drugs, wants to sell drugs to people going to meetings to make their life less of a wreck, threatens to rat on his partner who has saved his life countless times and just becomes more and more of a whiny teenager.
Walt I think stays consistent to what I remember him as. Which is to say, a fascinating asshole.

Attention, fans of Breaking Bad: Don't miss a chance to hear leading man Bryan Cranston, his co-stars Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte and Bob Odenkirk, and the show's creator, Vince Gilligan talk with New York Times culture reporter Dave Itzkoff about the series, the characters and what's coming in the show's final eight episodes.
The sold-out panel will be held on Tue., Jul. 30 from 6:30 at 8PM ET at The TimesCenter and will be simultaneously live-streamed on the ArtsBeat section of the New York Times website. Afterwards, you can find video from the panel on AMC.com
You know, that's actually a weak spot for me. The convulutions required to get the Ricin, as well as the double-thinking required to make it seem like a good plan *and* to think that Jesse would actually read it the way Walt wanted to-- that took me out of the story bigtime. Which is too bad, because it wasn't really necessary to the story, either.
To prove he's in charge. The henchman took matters into his own hands and started cooking without Gus' approval. Gus was just exercising his authority to prove a point.
