No, I don't believe so. Actually, now that I think about it, if the gif is in poor taste I'll take it down. :\

He did die, that was some live event on indian (I think?) tv a few years back. Cardiac arrest iirc.

Edit: Yup:

This is a really shocking video. An Indian man, Professor M.N. Vijayan (also known as Vijayan Mash), is giving a televised press conferences on October 3, 2007, in Thrissur, India in order to explain a defamation case filed by man named Pappootty, President of an organization called KSSP, over an article that appeared in a magazine called Paadham. While the conference was being filmed, Vijayan had a cardiac arrest on live TV and died immediately.

It took me several attempts to really get into Breaking Bad. I tried again at the beginning of April and I've been catching up on Netflix ever since. I finished S5A at the end of June and am now waiting anxiously for 5B with you guys. The show is absolutely incredible. I can't believe it took me so long to get around to watching it.

That gif made me laugh, not because of the content, but because of the fact that someone actually thought that was an appropriate thing to post.

smh.

So after watching that short clip I have to clear something up for myself.

Is Walt done? From the end of season 5 part one; I thought that after Skyler showed him that pallet of cash that he finally realized he didn't have to prove a point any longer and stopped and then we moved ahead 3 months.

My friend is certain that Walt isn't really out. :) I think he's definitely out. We'll see.

The pile of cash scene took place after the 3 month time jump.

Between the massive pile of money he has now and how bored he looked during the Crystal Blue Persuasion montage, I'm guessing he wants to be out. It's up in the air if Declan will let him just walk away, though.

Some season premiere spoilers in the wild. Stay safe GAF
...and a quick reminder from the OP:

On Spoilers:

Regular TV thread rules apply:
  • Once an episode airs in the US on the East Coast, it's fair game. Feel free to discuss anything that has aired without using spoiler tags.
  • Anything that hasn't aired yet should be spoiler tagged including information from previews, loglines, trailers, interviews, and a few other places.
There is a spoiler thread if you'd like to discuss leaks, photos, and other content without spoiler tags:

If anything leaks, please use the other thread for discussion.

Yes but I thought there was another 3 month jump after that, meaning It's about 6 months after Walt turns 51 and 6 months before the scene where he is 52.

I really thought that we saw a 3 months jump, and now Walt has all the money and then he quits and we saw them 3 months later where he and Skyler are much happier

Nah, there's still around 9 months to go until birthday 52

Tim Goodman just tweeted that he got his screener, too. FWIW, they're typically in SD with heavy, individual watermarking, so don't expect any leakage.

I assume it's all to discourage leaking, but I can't believe that they still don't send screeners in HD most of the time.

Almost four weeks before the premiere? That seems pretty early.

It might depend on the network. Someone like memles would know better than I would.
Yeah I know that network vary on that stuff, especially with how many episodes they send in screeners.

AMC seems to usually send only a single episode, someone like HBO is much more lenient. They send four episodes of Game of Thrones and The Newsroom, and they send SIX episodes of Boardwalk. Once those six air on Boardwalk, they send them the final six all at once.
Based on that pic it seems they changed the episode title from "The Decision" to "Blood Money".
Yeah episodes going through several names happens pretty often actually. Thanks for GRRM's blog, the seventh episode of the third season of GoT famously finally settled on the fourth name it went through.

Um...it was never called that...

The amount of people that actually believed that the episode title was The Decision is hilarious. How can they not tell that Dean Norris was clearly joking?!

"An actor who tweets solely jokes holds up an empty roll of toilet paper! Therefore the official title must be The Decision!"

Critics get a snazzy book with the screeners, too.

Right, it can vary quite a lot based on the network and the show.
