The one thing I don't like about Infinite is that, in becoming all MAINSTREAM hype and shit, the amount of people I'm seeing play through it and then understand nothing because they treated it like any other shooter is staggering.

It was pretty combat heavy at times so i can see how that happened, but i found the story and environments so immersive it was hard to rush through things

Uncharted I guess would be a no-brainer. I never played Ico or SOTC so I'd like to try them. Heavy Rain maybe. And def continuing my MGS playthrough too, loving these games.

All this is making me think I might have to wait on Bioshock... nah who am I kidding, I'll buy it tomorrow...

Sounds good to me - I was thinking I should knock a tenner off it because it's a bit scratched on the top, so maybe that helps with the guilt :p

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
Meeting my Grandparents for lunch and my Granddad always slips me £20 (NEVER too old for this), guess I'll nip into Game after and pick up Infinite.

EDIT: Also Sniv, PS3 to the TV, I tried a VGA cable and it was a nightmare. Ended up just buying a new monitor with HDMI input for use with both my PC and PS3.


EDIT: Wait, unless it's £40 for the PC version, in which case I'll fire that money in the bank and Steam it. I mean it would be on Steam anyway, I just like boxes.

Flower was far more fun than Journey, IMO.

ICO is one big escort mission with someone even more stupid than Natalya but looks incredible.

Uncharteds are probably best played in sequence, same with Infamous 1 & 2.

Heavy Rain is engaging, but the opening sequence is pretty harrowing.

BTW, I've got a download code for Bioshock 1 if you want it.

I appreciate that man and I trust this crew to not be dicks and spoil things. It's just I'm quite anal about spoilers and I'd be kicking myself if I read something that would spoiler it for me. Even knowing that there's a twist or hints like (zomg! Wait 'til you get to Level 5!!) gets me irate as I'd end up expecting it as I played through the game.

Ah really? That's a bummer, I like playing on my monitor way better than tv, I always feel really innaccurate and clumsy on the TV but I'm a god on the monitor. I'll try the TV out and see how it goes, although I'm gonna piss the mrs off for sure.

What issues did you have with the vga, and have you tried it with the xbox? I found it quite painless on there myself.

The problem was Sony don't make an official VGA cable, it wouldn't fill the screen or the quality was just horrific, even when I tried it on my 1080 monitor. Oh and also you need to plug it into your TV, set it to whatever they called VGA on there, then quickly switch it over to the VGA device.

I had the 360 VGA Cable when I had a 360, worked perfectly but it was an official product and Microsoft supported a whole load of resolutions including the 1440*900 my older monitor was running.

I plan on moving out of this shitty city, just as soon as I'm finished with University. 2 Years left and 1 year of work placement just before final year.

I plan on moving to London or something for my work placement year. Exciting.

I'd just be on the lookout for whether one version is much buggier than the other & maybe make sure the PS3 isn't going to be running at 12fps or some shit.

Other than that, I'm with you - couldn't give a fuck

but I get impressed by fucking SNES and PS1 games. Arguing the toss over an angel's hair of difference is just what is wrong with the internet all over and at this point in the gen it's just like... whatever, just buy stuff for the systems you want.
