Sadly when you're deep in depression you can't really think clear enough.I heard about this on the way home, made the usual comments about wishing people would be more considerate when they kill themselves. Didn't know they had fainted, feel bad now. It's a fear of mine, accidentally falling or being nudged onto the tracks in front of a train. How awful.

It's all been formal; given my notice by my landlord and everything. There was no deposit involved so there's no money to be collected. But this is the first time I've been faced with a situation like this and I don't know what to do. I have literally no money to my name (bar 7p) as I've had rent to pay, as well as bills and shopping for my daughters birthday. My next pay day isn't until the 30th - and half of that is going on this months rent, and a big sum of it being paid to my ex for CSA and money towards my little girls birthday party so, again, I'm going to be left with nothing.
I really don't know what to do and, honestly, I'm scared. I don't want to burden my friends with my presence and moving back in with my parents is a huge no-no as it would mean giving up my job and moving away from my daughter. I'm at a loss

Hey Jordan
I only really wear contacts on a weekend. I wear my glasses during the week.
You get used to to putting them in Jordan. Some quick tips:
Wash your hands, then peel the two packets open and have them sitting ready.
Rinse your hands again (glue residue and what not) then shake your hands dry, don't use a towel (fluff is a killer!)
Then get one on your middle fingertip, and transfer it to the same on your other hand.
Then use the index finger of either hand to open your eyelids, look straight ahead, then with a swift motion place the lens on your eye. Don't be tempted to look up or down, look straight ahead.
Also, remember to keep the lens horizontal on your fingertip, it's easy to let it slide off with all the saline. That's also why you need to be nice a swift placing it on your eye, do it slowly and it'll just slide down your fingertip.
Hope that helps buddy, stick with it. It's like anything else, you'll get the knack eventually!

I'm not even on talking terms with my family right now so borrowing money - the reason I'm not talking to them right now - is not a viable option.
