I much prefer to use 'bubble' than giggle.Where the fuck did this notion of British people using the phrase "are you having a giggle, mate?" come from? I swear I had never heard this phrase before certain unoriginal people began using it all over the place when mocking chavvy British people...
Yeah, unless you're adding jagerCHEEZMO;96636485 said:All energy drinks are absolute shit
I want jagerbombs now.Yeah, unless you're adding jager
I'm OK with that! (And also the Heisenberg one, my daughter pointed to a publicity shot for Breaking Bad and said "That's you daddy." last year.)
I used to get Ryan Giggs, Dexter Fletcher & Alan Cumming at various stages in my life so I think I'm happier with the more mature set now. The crazy beard is gone though, I had an interview on Monday and didn't think it was quite right.
All energy drinks are chemically enhanced, Monster just makes it taste better.
Anyone tried that Pussy one?
Man, these guys like their filters nice and dirty. The Chemical Brothers one in particular was super filthy, love it. The Jag was a cool track too.Micronauts links.
Yeah, it worked for me. Embedded YT links always seem to work on GAF, as long as you hit the play icon rather than the link. It's weird. I enjoyed this more than the one from last night, a bit more chilled and not so twee. Noice. Will get to your links in a second guys. I listened to all of Beaucoup Fish man it is still amazing.
Dug deeeeeeeeeeep in the bowels of youtube for this Serph track. Hopefully it works because it doesn't even give a share link.
The Need New Body one was cool, and I know the Tom Waits one from Fight Club, I love that track.Mixed tuneage
I really need to see that film. I really loved Tangled, I was surprised by how much! I thought it was hilarious, and everyone says Frozen is even better. Will watch.I've just rewatched Tangled, and definitely still say Frozen is better

I liked the JSBX and Red Snapper tunes too, really good stuff. I've got the Amon Tobin mix on now, amazing! It's late though, so it's on quiet. I get the feeling that isn't the idea. :/
My HiFi MD player is working perfectly last time I checked (which was I'm pretty sure less than a year ago).My MD drive on my old hifi broke otherwise yes!
Ah, they're French, that explains it! I remember listening to Daft Punk - Homework when it first came out. Intrigued, a friend asked what sort of music it was, so I said it's kind of French filtered house. And yeah, The Micronauts stuff is filter crazy, I think it's a French thing.
Yeah, he has such a tight grasp on what he's doing. Super talented guy.I usually trot out that Amon Tobin out at house parties because it has a beautiful build up/escalation to it... And it's great to bop around in a kitchen to. Another gentleman I'd lump under genuine musical genius; guy can do anything!

Still have a handful of blank MDs that will never be used.
Sure it may have died a quick death but being able to record anything by just plugging a lead into the jack port made listening to my music on the go a breeze. Even recorded that whole THPS2 soundtrack by pausing it and just letting it play through all the songs. Can't easily do that with an MP3 player!
Manuel Gottsching - E2-E4 (this part is called H.R.H. Retreats (With A Swing)
At least most of it is.
Man it's good. I'll get to those links tomorrow definitely, I'm about to collapse.
Ok so I really am trying guys. I've listened to everything posted on this page, and I gotta say I don't like any of it (with the exception of Pavement and Tool but they're nothing new to me).
But I did like most of the stuff Screaming Meat posted, so I will be paying attention to his recommendations at least. And here's one from me.

I really enjoyed these two. I love SBTRKT, eagerly awaiting new stuff from him.Midlake - Roscoe (Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve remix) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tejx70O0RPk

I had a super slick metal-clad Sony player, the eject action was quite arousing, such sexy engineering.I used to love the physicality of them and how they'd satisfyingly click as you slotted them in.
This is pretty epic, it just builds and builds! I'll check out some more, Pats will love these guys.
Yeah man, can't go wrong with some Tool, unless you just split up with your girlfriend or something. Check out this drum cover by John Kew, he never skips a beat. Plus it's really well shot and edited in terms of showing quite how ludicrously technical Danny Carey's drum routines are. And how crazy big his kit is! The dude is a savant.Wow I haven't listened to Lateralus in ages, cheers ninj ^)^
2 Many DJ's always goes down a storm at parties. Their song choices are so eclectic that there is always something for everyone, and they don't stick with one track for very long. They have a good sense of humour too! I'd kill to see them live.I listened to about 3 minutes of it and added it too my favourites.
This was really nice too, the beat is great.

Haha, no way! It must have been all the clothes that threw you off.I saw them at Reading years ago. They were cracking. My presiding memory though is that we were standing right next to Har Mar Superstar and didn't realise till the set was over.
GAF is a great source for discovering music, there are usually at least a few decent music threads a week in the OT, and there is wicked stuff getting posted in here all the time.I have to thank you all for helping broaden my music horizons. Didn't realise how much stuff I was missing out on.
Haha, well played. They never fail to put a smile on my face!Oh and happy birthday woodsey1982 and BGBW! Hope you both have an awesome day, this is for you.

Hello. I've dealt with myself from time to time. (Not a euphemism for maturation)Has anyone here had any dealings with aspergers?
