They’ve certainly fixed some the reticle BS from the beta and the aim on m/k now feels quite crisp. GG

ehhhhh, as a mosly SP only player, it was not. A 4 hr campaign that reused sliced off parts of the Warzone map for campaign missions.

If you play COD for the Campaign your doing it wrong.
R Reizo Ryuu is correct. MWIII is great, much better than MW2. The support and content drops this last year have arguably been the best they have ever done.

MW3 is great but it certainly didn't start out that way... still more than happy to give credit where credit is due though as they did an excellent job further refining and adding content along the way.

Very first impressions, finished two missions.
Seems pretty cool so far, seems they are going deep with being able to tackle the objective multiple ways, and you can gear accordingly, also definitely do read the "challenges" tab before heading out.
The hub is very much like cold war, except they've kinda expanded it to be it's own level, with multiple puzzles to solve and things to upgrade so you can get more powerful; definitely seems like something that will add a couple hours to the playtime.
With MP they just straight up killed it.

Even if we look at just the SP, the campaigns generally aren't very long, still took me about 7 hours, and the building level is one of my all-time favourites already.

Quake and Counter Strike usually get my dopamine flowing nicely, but this game… this game is on another level. No wonder their player retention is top tier.
This is not healthy. Stay away from BO6.

Watched a video on the anti cheat stuff... looks great i hope it actually makes any sort of impact at all. i'm sure it will all be defeated quickly though. If not, will they apply this to other titles? If it works well they should apply this tech to all the titles. Cause FUCK cheaters.

Played a bit of the campaign. Not good so far. Actually kind of boring for a CoD campaign.
Film grain is strong, don't see a way to disable it. Shadows are still noisy, which is somewhat mitigated by DLAA. Have to compromise between a sharp image and noisy shadows.
Crashed during the third mission. Don't even remember the last time a game crashed for me.
I make my own hours and am deciding to work instead of continuing to play, so that's that. Will continue tonight.

5800x3d/6800xt had to turn most things on low or off to get solid 165FPS on 1440p.. MWIII ran better on my system overall

I don’t play online, had no idea they reused MP maps. But I enjoyed MW3 a ton. And from a COD noob perspective, if BO6 is a lot better than MW3 it’ll be on my GOTY list!

Treyarch fucked the movement again. Feels way too sloppy and somewhat sluggish. Doesn't feel tight at all. Probably caters to controller players.
Omnimovement makes no sense. They're going for a more realism in some regard but they also let you instantly slide from 0-100 in any direction.
It seems like they're stuck between wanting arcade and realism and don't know what the fuck they're doing. "Here are a bunch of ideas, which should we go with?" "YES."
The system could be OK if they fully committed to this being an arcade game, because it is, and made the game feel TIGHT, but (as mentioned above) it feels sloppy.
The fake leaning is stupid. Put leaning in the game or don't. Character models look silly auto-leaning in and out of cover.
OG Warzone days were fun but that was pretty much it for me.
There's my full review after less than half of a single match. Guess I'm a gaming journalist now.

Lol the 4th mission is basically MGS5, basically like the open ended maps in MWIII but with more shit to do.
They haven't changed it because it would slow updates to a crawl, by updating in-game they don't have to submit any patches for certifiation if they just want to change small things or have small content updates.

I played a few MP games… gotta say I’m not enjoying it at all. Something about firing the weapons feels off. They lack any weight or strength feels like using bb guns.
MW 2019 was the reason I came back from not wanting to play COD MP to getting excited again about COD, but for now goodbye COD.
