It's great for me too, because I'm not good enough to get those really long kill streaks. I still want to see what the Support package is all about though.

It's not 5 times faster as he makes it out to be because you would also be getting extra exp. when calling in any of the point streaks from any of your other classes as well, but it is a little bit faster just because of how quickly you can earn those bonuses with hardline. 400xp for one kill? YES PLEASE.

True it's not 5 times faster, but if you combine that with some doritos double xp and SnD it's like an xp bonanza.

I really like kill confirmed. For now it seems like the anti-camper game type. This in addition to things like hardline used with the specialist package really encourages a more run and gun style of game. Air support is definitely not that much a factor in this game due to the pavelow/AC130/O Gunner being harder to get. Also as I've said before, the SAM turret (and support package in general) rules all. I wish all the maps weren't so small though.

That Doritos double XP stuff is still some serious bullshit. I mean, there's been a few people in this thread complaining that some people are getting a few days worth of XP before everyone else...but what about the fact that no other country has a promotion like the Doritos (and Mtn Dew, isn't it?) one?

We don't have that promotion here in the UK but we do get 4 hours of double XP as a pre-order bonus.

Nothing wrong with spawn trapping, provided it doesn't reach the extent where even good players simply can't get out.

A good team uses spawns to their advantage - you have to trap them in the first place which is easier said than done (depending on the caliber of players you're facing, of course). It's a legitimate tactic, albeit a little unfair on novice players.

Judging from Max's impressions, it seems clear that IW wanted to get rid of it big-time and thus make spawns more variable. That's ok, but not when they're putting spawns directly behind you - that's a big no no and makes playing consistently well very difficult.

Map knowledge and awareness is a huge skill in CoD - let's not take that away from the series. Especially when bullets are killing you faster than ever.

MW2 is a lot of fun when you're coming off Blops, since the vastly superior hit detection, netcode, and framerate are more apparent.

Try and unlock all the different attachments. You level up faster if you use all the different weapons.

Yes, just play one match after you prestige so the servers can register your new rank.

Yes go prestige and play extra one match so your shiny prestige token will be available to you as soon as you boot up mw3!

It's weird how all your comments about MW3 maps are basically only about the aesthetics, but then you rank CoD4 as #1? Do you remember that it only has two types of maps; bombed out arab neighborhood and industrial stuff (crates, warehouses)? The map pack brought variety with Chinatown, Creek, Killhouse and Broadcast (I think?), but the base game had only brown houses and grey crates so it's pretty unfair to call MW3 out for something which you're praising CoD4 for. Also, WaW is the brown-grayest game ever made, I have no idea what argument you could possibly have for it having more variety or flavor than MW3.

You're allowed to hate MW3 all you want, but at least make some sense!

When IGN had their MW3 live stream, someone asked since 360 has one month map pack exclusivity if PS3 Elite members will get the map packs early as well. Robert Bowling said he didnt know. :-/

He said there was also a guy they could ask to get the 100% deets on it, but I forgot the name. If you can find out who he mentioned then you could tweet him.

I'm getting the Hardened, Elite isn't a bad deal if you are gonna play all year and buy the map packs anyway. In theory you save money but that's without figuring in deals on points cards.
