Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 |OT| Got 99 Problems, But Sales Ain't One.

Was anyone here at Call of Duty XP? One of our team was there and got the code to redeem for the Hardened edition. Did so, but there ain't no tracking number or such. Anybody hear of a way to check up on one's shipment?

Sigh.. I'm probably the minority but I really cannot stand burst weapons. I hate putting a few shots into someone for them to spin around and blind fire a burst into me and kill me. It is seriously the most frustrating thing in the world. With this increased bullet damage this time around it looks like that may not happen, so we'll see.

After watching these videos, I have to give a massive LOL at Robert Bowling's statement of "with MW3, we're bringing the focus back to gun-on-gun combat." Air support looks even more ridiculous than MW2, and I loved that game. This just looks dumb and unnecessary.

I'm the same way sometimes but opposite. I hate it when I put 2 bursts into someone and they turn on me with their Scar/ACR. Or the almighty spray and pray. Or I get a hitmarker and get blasted on, which is painful to the soul. Both weapons types can be very annoying :D

Air support goes down super easy with sam turret. Support package FTW!

I think one of the greatest things they added is you get credit for your point streaks by shooting down air support, once people figure this out I think it will be very under control.

Yeah, it seems like a GOOD team will have a balance of players using the assault and support packages.
While Specialists kill both equally =)

all these vids are looking awesome.

Gonna be alot of complaints about the type-95 being OP though. It's gonna be the M16 with RDS from COD4 all over again lol.

Getting the hardened edition on tuesday, so I'm guessing I'll be a founder once I use the voucher included with it right?

Starting my MW1 and MW2 replay now just finished the boat at the start of MW1. X4's make this campaign really immersive. Should get more recognition that it does.

What the Hell kinda name is soap

I hope the hit detection isn't screwed though. It looked pretty bad in that domination game (and no, it wasn't theater mode).

you don't get the map loading screen when using theater mode (I think)

Also a shame that it seems multiple players on the same team can launch whatever streak they have at the same time with seemingly little exception, blops had a queue of sorts so a team for example couldn't have 2 choppers up at once, but in that dom vid there's just....everything up there for the guy's team

The same thing is in MW3. You can launch your heli if the airspace is full, but you get a message basically telling you it's queued up and will enter once the airspace clears.

in the vid though it seemed like the pavelow and ah-6 were up at the same time

Here's one way of checking that I found on twitter.

If you went to #CODXP #XP2011 call FedEx and see when your game is coming 1-800-463-3339 #MW3 (look up by address)

I swore that I would only rent MW3 for the Single Player...but after watching a few missions...it's off to get the game.

It looks like the Single player is really really steped up from MW2.


So anyone else planning to get the game for single player primarily...or just me? Lol

nope, if someone had an attack chopper no one on the same team can call in a chopper gunner or gunship until it's done

did a lot to promote gun on gun and get rid of killstreak spam, down to preferrence I guess

I am. Its the first thing I do before even touching multiplayer. Love the story.

Black Ops promotes FAMAS on FAMAS. Best part about that game was Gun Game.

Though I play a lot of multiplayer too.
