Now that Microsoft fired all the CoD studios, are we getting Season 2 or...

I don’t have an answer to that as it’s really a matter of competition. People buy COD like they buy Madden and Madden has been degrading for a decade. Once a viable competitor appears, then I’ll have an exact answer for you. As its stands, there is no viable competitor to COD in the military arcade fps genre that delivers a mostly compelling product. The game will just continually degrade but, people will just continue to buy it and complain.

From what I hear Battlefield isn't bad at all in it's current state. CoD multiplayer might not have competition, but Warzone has plenty...

Season 2 Roadmap:

"Season 2 delivers a massive drop of content, with four new Core 6v6 maps, a new War map, another Zombies story mission, the return of Resurgence Map Fortune’s Keep, along with Ranked Play for both Multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone. The undead are everywhere: Get ready as the Hunt begins on February 7!"

They certainly are not scrimping on content.

Are we still moaning about the fact this was a full price game with full price content?

Current loadout, depending on the map I use either the SVA or the RAM7 with that awesome new SMG... feels kinda like an MP5 overall

Are they running double xp right now by any chance? I still haven't completed current battle pass even though I started high cause of vault edition... season 2 looks good

I hear ya!

Most of the skins are just ridiculous, but I’m over it. If the kiddies buying them keep the free maps coming, then so be it!
The one thing I would actually pay good money for is to not see all the stupid skins and gun effects, just sell a “old school skin and effects” or whatever they want to call it.

Oh, man, don't give them any ideas. Paying to take content OUT of the game.

I would also be interested in purchasing this stripped-down setting lol

I don't think so but check the store for some free tier skips. I thought one of the COD bloggers said if you haven't finished the battle pass they were giving away 5 free tier skips in the store. I cant check it because I completed it a long time ago. Keep in mind It could all be bullshit for clicks so if nothing's there you got a week to finish it.

I will put over a thousand hours in MP alone over the next 12 months so I am getting my moneys worth. Hell, I am probably already close to that number if I checked. I don't play Zombies or Warzone and I still think it's worth it. They added the Weapons Case and Exfil Chopper in a special mode today so maybe I can get my DMZ fix going and enjoy another mode. Also, we are getting a new War Mode in Season 2 so I am looking forward to that.

Engage in Spectral Operations with BlackCell’s John Doe
MWIII-S2-BATTLEPASS-002.jpg

Bound to an eternal cycle of war, some souls can never find peace. This stalking revenant brings an otherworldly menace to any match, clad in the tattered remains of black and gold armor, with a glowing purple hue, most predominant within this specter’s sunken eye sockets.
John Doe brings with him a task force of spectral soldiers, all featuring a reactive skin. Seek out enemy Operators to defeat, and your corporeal form changes:
  • After two kills, you take on a more zombified appearance.
  • After five kills, you take on a more skeletal state.

Purchase the Battle Pass: Instantly Unlock Rick Grimes & Kate Laswell
Whether you purchase the BlackCell offering or the standard Battle Pass for 1,100 COD Points, the Instant Reward Sector becomes available, and includes two new Operators, as part of this Bonus Sector.

BlackCell Owners: You also unlock the “Rick Grimes BlackCell” Operator Skin.

Kate Laswell (SpecGru, Battle Pass Instant Reward)
MWIII-S2-BATTLEPASS-003B.jpg

Kate Laswell began her career in communications where she was quickly recognized for her advanced strategic analysis and climbed the CIA ranks. Across her tenure, she has saved tens of thousands of lives with her detainee information, and now works closely with select special agents to respond to terrorist activity across the globe.
BlackCell Owners: You also unlock the “Kate Laswell BlackCell” Operator Skin.
The Instant Reward Sector also grants you a 10% Battle Pass boost, the “Clank” Weapon Blueprint for the MTZ-762 Battle Rifle, and the “Goose” Operator Finishing Move for Laswell, featuring a vicious takedown by Laswell’s pet dog.

Battle Pass Skin: Ignore any chemical imbalances in the atmosphere as you arrive in combat clad in a long coat, full gas mask, and dark camo.
BlackCell Additional Skin: Bring the dripping undeath look, the skeletal Keres appears in the remains of a light tactical outfit, and baseball cap.

“Skulker” Skins (Operator Skin, Farah, Sector B8)

New Functional Weapons
Unlock two new functional weapons in Sectors B6 and B7:

RAM-9 Submachine Gun (Sector B6, HVT, Free)
MWIII-S2-BATTLEPASS-005.jpg

More maneuverable and agile than its assault rifle counterpart, this bullpup SMG chambered in 9mm is lethal at close range.
Offering among the best-in-class Recoil Control and Mobility, as well as the most Rounds and Reserve of any SMG, the RAM-9 may not win any pinpoint accuracy awards (especially a distance), but it can certainly mow down the opposition with high-damage, chamber-emptying assaults, especially as you close in for the kill.

BP50 Assault Rifle (Sector B7, Free)
MWIII-S2-BATTLEPASS-005A.jpg

A modular bullpup chambered in 5.56. Tear down the competition with a high rate of fire and exceptional accuracy for dominating at mid to long ranges.
For Operators needing optimal mobility from their weaponry, the BP50 is a spectacular contender. Offering exceptional maneuverability and a spectacular rate of fire compared to other rifles in its class, this Corvus-built armament can cut down the opposition in a variety of rapid and impressive ways.

I just noticed I'd earned 200 CP for some reason, so I went to check out the battle pass screen out of curiosity and it's offering me the Vault Edition for $0.00. But when I click 'buy now' it throws up an error message. Strange.

Anyone else noticing the servers are getting shittier?
The stats screen on mine is barely useable at the moment. It takes ages to cycle through the different filters, and when it does eventually switch to a new page most of the stats don't load.

Im pretty hyped for season 2 tbh, the new maps look good. The way SHG is making maps this go around I personally would have liked them to use the best maps from mw2 and mw3 dlc included, like 6 of each and then fill in the rest with the new maps. A lot of these maps now are insta skips for me.

Weirdly, I would vote for every one of those maps. The ones I skip - or drop out of the countdown if they get chosen - are Rust, Shipment, Meat, Greece and Rio.

No, that's called aimbot. Who the fuck would ever believe snap aiming like that is 'muscle memory'? Game is full of fucking cheaters.

Not aimbot..

These are the snaps that he actually made, i bet he also misses a lot of them and it would’ve been wise to include some of that so people don’t automatically think it’s aimbot.

Have you seen how aimbot works?

I don't think he is cheating either, I think he is a legit demon and possibly reverse boosted to get a bot lobby, mix those together and you get clips like this.

People forget there are actual professionals out there and those type of people playing against regulars like myself are well, pros for a reason

Definitely the lobby thing because someone like that shouldn’t be in those lobbies…

This will be the first black cell season pass I actually purchase that doesn't come with an ultimate/vault edition. All the battle pass stuff looks great. Love the looks of the operators and the animated/reactive skins.

On a second note, even though this cod had a rough debut I wonder if the success and revenue from it is what may have finally swayed ms to think about putting more games on other consoles? Would make sense to me...

I normally don't buy these battlepasses from COD as much like you I usually get the launch edition that comes with season 1 but I too really like the looks of these skins

Does anyone know if the Developers address the issue of the rewards tab that wasn't working correctly tied to Zombies mode in season 1? I tried and tried for week or two and just didn't work. Would suck if I lose all the rewards in that tab because it was broken.

I love this silly shit in all honesty

There are plenty of milsims out there if I want to play something more hardcore but when I jump on shipment and run around breathing dragons breath and incinerating people I will gladly wear over the top skins and camos
I miss the days of red vs blue, black vs green, etc. The amount of times I've delayed shooting somebody because I thought he was on my team... They should should show a loading screen with all of your team and all the enemy models, so you can try to memorise them.

Had a match the other day where most of the opposition was dressed as A-Train from The Boys, so at least that one was easy. Do the models with giant alien heads actually have larger hitboxes?
