A&M and Texas play on thanksgiving at 7:30! They don't play eachother though. It's a quest for higher ratings. The less interesting matchup plays on a more popular network while the matchup with playoff indication plays on a newer network with much lower viewership. Who takes the ratings cake!?!

"The Game" is this week. OSU better not underestimate the boys in Blue, especially after last year's game. However, I expect at least a 21-point margin of victory.

I'm feeling something I haven't felt for well over a month: hope.

Rudolph looked extremely promising and poised out there. The offensive line actually blocked decently.

Hopefully Gundy sticks around, we make a change at OC and we're back to contending for a conference title next season.
And thus the cycle begins again. Wasn't too long ago that Walsh looked like the man as a freshman.

We're all excited about our Lord and Savior Patrick Mahomes starting over that no good 100% terrible bum Davis Webb, too.

I'm not completely sold yet, but I've watched enough football to be very encouraged by what I saw on Saturday.

The line play was significantly better (which helped) but his pocket awareness was exceptional. His ball placement was spot-on. He just has a steady air about him that is very encouraging, and the team's play reflected that. They had confidence that we could actually score, they didn't just *hope* like they have been.

Next year's QB competition will actually be a fight, and I'd favor Rudolph at this point. We should maybe even consider asking Walsh to play another position since he's such a good athlete.

HELL YEAH.

Rivalrly Week.

We're gonna take down our most hated Horned Frogs from Cow Town. The vile villains that they are.

As a boy I stayed up at night with images of their eyes shooting blood at me. My only joy was imagining a frogging stick being gigged in their general direction.

Come Thursday the only thing any longhorn dreams of eating is toad cooked over an open flame. This is a seething hatred passed down from generation to generation and can only be summed up in one word: Ragnarök .

Hell is coming frogs, hell is coming.

We're gonna get killed, but I get to see a Jurassic World trailer!

I envy you guys and your rivalry weeks. This week we have Tulsa.

I hope we don't lose!

Just make a new rivalry and pretend the old one doesn't exist anymore!

Damned Hornfrogs!

I think next year Tech is our blood rival again. Darned masked horsemen, I hate them with all of my phlegmy bile

Can Tech put together 4 quarters? They've had their blows outs against the mutts for sure, but they've had their winable games to. Just can't seal the deal.

I'd argue we are the best team UGA has faces in a long while as I think we are better than burn. Our defense as a whole sucks, but we were gonna give up points anyways. If we can control the clock and get Mason to cough it up we got a shot.

Wouldn't surprise me if we keep it close, but at the same time wouldn't surprise me if the mutts run all over us early. Then it gets out of control in the dawg house.

Looks like I'll be chilling at home watching with my bro. My parents are gonna go with some good friends of ours though who have season tickets at the dawg house. Honestly I've heard early weather rumors that it could be cold and rainy. In which case I'd rather be at home than sit through that anyways.

Did that too many times in my 20s. Now that I'm in my 30s fuck that. I think the GT Clemson game during the Hurricane broke me.

Absolutely.

The Hook 'Em hand sign is actually the proper way to hold a gigging stick to kill a frog.

The Aggies' "gig 'em" hand sign most often leads to one putting their own eye out and the frog absconding safely down the middle of the defense for a career rushing day.

Really I don't see how Tech can stop our offense, averaging 43.3 points a game against better defenses than the one they have. I see us stopping Tech for the first few drives, and scoring in our first couple chances. Then it becomes a game that Tech isn't likely to win since they have to pass. Guess we'll see.

DeAndre Washington got up to 1,038 rushing yards on the season against Iowa State, making him the first Texas Tech player to get over 1,000 yards rushing in a season since Ricky Williams did it in 1998 (he had 1,582). For reference, that was two seasons before Mike Leach showed up.

Really I don't see how Tech can stop our offense
Once they chop down enough of your DL, you'll have to start converting your OL mid-game just to field a defense. Their secret will be playing the attrition game.

It's been a few weeks since Bobo has had a stupid moment. I don't think we will stop you in general, but if Bobo gets dumb and tries to pass when he could easily run we could have a chance. There's been a few times this year already the coaching staff has just decided to pass even though Gur or Chub have been running up and down the field. LoL

It has been quite some time since Texas had a 1,000 yard rusher (Jamaal Charles 2007). We thought Malcolm Brown would be a 1,000 yard rusher when we recruited him in 2011, but he hasn't. This year, his senior year, he has 654 yards on 166 carries which averages just under 4 yards per carry.

Also, want to take a guess at who our 2nd most recent 1,000 yard rusher was?

Don't say this. :(

Actually, yes, I could see this being the main thing that could stop us, is getting too cute for ourselves. This is the most run heavy UGA has been since probably Dooley, but if Bobo decides after rushing is working great to start passing 100% of the time, then I could see some problems. There have been gripes over the years of Bobo doing this so that they can be "balanced for the sake of being balanced" but he's been pretty good this year at recognizing what the team is good at (run blocking and Gurley and Chubb running the ball).

Just a Kentucky upset over Louisville from having 13 of 14 teams being bowl eligible.

We actually might run out of bowls. Time to make some more.

Glad the Apple Cup is on a Saturday again instead of Black Friday. Also glad that our offense actually looked like a Pac-12 caliber offense last week. Andrew Hudson got to 10 sacks for the season last game after he was basically left to rot by the last coaching staff. Coach Pete wanted him to come back and he's been solid across from Kikaha.

Let's get this win and get to Vegas Huskies!

Either that or make 8 wins the minimum. 6 is too easy especially in the SEC where you can schedule 4 OOC cupcakes like Miss. St and A&M did, then all you need is 2 wins in conference to be eligible. Almost any team can accomplish that.

Gracious, no. Close half of them. At least.

ACC had 11 bowl participants last year (for a record that the SEC looks poised to break) and is a Pitt victory over Miami away from doing the same this year. There aren't 6 good teams in the ACC, let alone 11 that belong in a bowl.

6 wins against 12 game schedules that likely include at least 2 FCS cupcakes is not a good season.

Prediction for Iowa-Nebraska game:

Nebraska goes up 2-3 scores early and precedes to get rolfstomped again.

Oh wait, Iowa won't be ranked

Then Nebraska actually shows up to play and blows out Iowa because lol Nebraska.
