Reprehensible
The guy made fun of a disabled reporter
I remember the feel online during that time. People were so sick and tired of the status quo that it's no wonder people were hoping for Trump or Sanders.I think (but I obviously don't know enough) that the Democratic Party went downhill from the moment Clinton "illegally" replaced Sanders in the election.
He didn't mock the reporter for his disability. That was a hoax, just like the "Fine people on both sides" hoax.
Trump used that exact same flailing arms gesture when mocking other people, not just that disabled reporter. He did it to Ted Cruz as well, who obviously isn't disabled.
This hoax is what started the "WalkAway" movement - a huge movement of liberals walking away from the democratic party.

I don't think a civil war in USA today would play out the way many people think. You guys are going to end up in a civil war if you can't work out how to find some middle ground.
Seems pretty obvious to me that demonising the right or calling everyone on the left a psychopath isn't working very well.
Are you serious?! It's not the same movements! You have eyes and so do I. This is gaslighting. Nervous hand movements is not the same as the original hand movements as Trump did. That isn't a hoax...
Are you going to say it's a hoax that Trump made fun of Paul Pelosi's attack? That his son didn't either?
We'll send you our troups to help.I don't think a civil war in USA today would play out the way many people think.
For a full blown war to happen you need a big part of the army to fight the rest of the country just like it did on Garland's Civil War.
Any small arms militia that the "left" could form is pathetic when compared to trained US soldiers and they could never win a conflict. This pretty much applies to the rest of the civilians and "my gunz" crowd.
For me, keeping the second amendment just for the possibility of a corrupt government that the people might need to overthrow is stupid. When this thing was written its possible the government has the same equipment as the citizens.
I respect more the "i just want to have a gun" answer than "i have to defend myself against an evil government".
It would probably look more like The Troubles in Northern Ireland. Which would of course be horrifying even if not a conventional war with armies.I don't think a civil war in USA today would play out the way many people think.

Well, that would be like saying the people can't do anything because the government has nuclear weapons. There would be a multitude of factors in a scenario like that. Stuff like Viet Cong's success or the events in the Cuban Revolution. For me, keeping the second amendment just for the possibility of a corrupt government that the people might need to overthrow is stupid. It's hardly the only one, the killing of Melissa Hortman and her husband, murder of Wadea al-Fayoume, 2023 Jacksonville shooting, and the Buffalo supermarket shooting in 2022 are all very recent examples. Let's not forget the very obvious January 2021 incident.Which brings me to another thought I've had recently. If righwing violence against leftists is so prevalent....why do the left keep going back to this one Paul Pelosi incident? Why do they all sight this specific example if there are supposedly so many other examples?
They were literally recruiting mentally ill people.
ADHD is hardly mentally ill. They were literally recruiting mentally ill people.
Wow.They were literally recruiting mentally ill people.
Either way.'Easy way' was ABC and affiliates take steps themselves to come back in to compliance with the FCCs rules.
'Hard way' was the FCC takes steps to enforce those rules, meaning possible fines and license revocation, as spelled out in the interview. There was nothing vague about it.
Disney lost 4 billion dollars over this. Sorry Disney

More truth than a joke, imho."The voters hated Hillary so much they voted for someone they hated even more."
I've had discussions in 3 subreddits over the last few days. Got permabanned only in one, so it's not that heavily, lol.Reddit, when it wasn't as heavily censored.
I just watched the original for the first time it's more like a fright than disability. And didn't the reporter say afterwards that it wasn't meant to be mocking? Are you serious?!
So Trump will become a dictator in the end.Any small arms militia that the "left" could form is pathetic when compared to trained US soldiers
It is a neurological.disorder according to the DSM 5.ADHD is hardly mentally ill.

Is the second amendment the only thing between Trump and a dictatorship? So Trump will become a dictator in the end.
Looking back on it now, the Democrats trying to force Hillary onto America in 2016 was most likely the "turning point" for meI remember the feel online during that time. People were so sick and tired of the status quo that it's no wonder people were hoping for Trump or Sanders.
I even remember when a bird landed on his podium during a speech and the supporters were almost ready to start a cult around him lol.

The vibes were insanely strong and I think he might have won against Trump. And then he got "ousted". That probably made many disillusioned by the Democratic Party. I think they felt like the elites really wanted Hillary as the candidate so they didn't have much of a choice in the matter. All that energy of hope and change just evaporated. The energy and momentum behind Trump remained incredibly strong.
Not to mention when Hillary seemed to have health problems, once she spat out a rubber ball sized of phlegm into a glass during a speech and on some picture she seemed to have fainted and was thrown like a beef into her van by her bodyguards. Norm MacDonald joked afterwards: "The voters hated Hillary so much they voted for someone they hated even more."
Insane times. It was an exciting period to experience Reddit, when it wasn't as heavily censored.
They have business addressing news distortion and hoaxes on the public airwaves and to ensure the public's airwaves are being used in the public interest. Maybe they shouldn't, and people like Kimmel should be able to use the public airwaves to knowingly falsely accuse groups of murder uninterrupted, but that is currently the remit they have been given. They have no business fining or taking away a license for a political opinion they disagree with.
Dude, I'm an adult. You can correct my grammar. I won't be offended.Who?
Are you serious?! It's not the same movements!
Those gunmen are there to protect the people cheering for them. I align with them, not the people cheering the political assassination of someone, but to each their own.Seems a little tasteless to cheer gunmen on rooftops but I get the spirit of it![]()
I'm trying to imagine the courage Erika Kirk needs to go up and speak like she is right now. She isn't really a public speaker like her husband wasI always wonder if people like Vance and Trump get nervous to speak in front of 50k+ people. I'd be shitting myself.
That's a great line!Dude, you sound like Snopes right now
He doesn't have to have his hands in the same exact position and angle for the gesture to be the exact same thing.
I pity the fool that thought she was some bimbo caught in Charlie's orbit. I suspect there will be some "hell hath no fury....." moments coming up for the people that wished ill on her and her kids.Erica Kirk's got a real backbone and a real message.
