Chuck versus the NeoGAF - The Official Season 4 Thread - Mondays on NBC

After burning through a bunch of episodes, I was reminded of something thats been bugging me for a while: Is something wrong with Adam Baldwin's right arm? He never seems comfortable with it while standing around in scenes, especially when he holds his belt with it.

Its kind of like he doesn't know what to do with it or something.

Weird, I never noticed that before. I do recall him hooking that hand into his belt a bunch of times now that you mention it.

Last day of the S3 rewatch:

Chuck S3 Rewatch

Chuck S3E19: "Chuck versus the Ring: Part II"
Day 19: Friday, September 17th
Original Air Date: May 24th, 2010

I first noticed it in vs. the Delorian, when he was handing Sarah's dad the bank account number in the Orange Orange, he looked really uncomfortable walking over and handing a piece of paper. I thought it was just a rush job or something and couldn't really reshoot it. However, I noticed that he does it a lot.

This came up over at SomethingAwful a few days ago. I wish I never saw it since I have never noticed it in the past, but now I know I will be looking for it every time he is on screen.

At the moment, I think its like when you are told to walk naturally for the camera, and the first thing that pops into your head is "HOW THE FUCK DO I WALK NATURALLY!?"

My second idea is that he has a shoulder problem or something, nothing serious that prevents him from doing action shots, but when he doesn't have to do something with it, he rests it comfortably.

This Sunday-Thursday is like a 5 day national holiday as far as I'm concerned.
I wish I had my website up in time for it, but I just thought of it last week

- Chuck featured in the Atlantic's 12 TV Shows You're Not Watching (But Should)
As TV’s only spy-comedy-romance, Chuck is at once thrilling, charming, and touching. Chuck Bartowski is a nerdy IT guy at a Best Buy-type store who becomes CIA’s most valuable agent after a computer chip containing top secret information—as well as martial arts and weaponry training—is accidentally downloaded into his brain.

The hour long show plays like an exhilarating action film—Mission: Impossible meets Get Smart—as massive stunts, effects, and action sequences are peppered with the slapstick of Chuck’s buffoonery as he gets his sea legs in the spy world. Add in the surprisingly captivating romance between Chuck and his partner Sarah and the show’s endearing supporting cast, and Chuck manages the necessary depth and heart that makes the caper antics and mysteries worth coming back for week after week.

Chuck premieres Monday, Sept. 20 at 8:00 pm ET on NBC.

- ChuckTV's review of the premiere *spoilers*
Remember the lightheartedness and the chemistry (between all of the leads) that first hooked you on Chuck? It’s back, but deeper and richer thanks to the past 3 seasons. In fact, the entire episode feels richer and deeper; it’s confident and ambitious and intimate all at once. There are some moments that made me shout with laughter and a couple of incredibly poignant moments as well.

Man, this might be the only weekend on record where I am more excited about the 24 hours starting Sunday at 9 then the rest of the weekend.

It could because I don't have much going on this weekend and all that, but Chuck, Boardwalk Empire, and in the middle of the best season of Mad Men? Golden Age of TV, baby!

I don't have HBO, so I am missing out on Boardwalk Empire, but I know what you mean. New Chuck and Castle on Monday, followed by Civilization V on Tuesday. One of the rare times that I am actually looking forward to the weekend being over.

Did Ryan McPartlin get sick and miss the first few weeks of shooting or something? Captain Awesome seems not to be appearing in either of the 3 episodes we have official loglines for...just curious.

Based off the description for Monday's episode, I have to imagine he will be in it even if he isn't listed. If not that is going to be a weird B plot.

True. But aren't main cast members always noted at the end when they're not on the actual description and they appear in the episode? (just like Bonita Friedericy is)

I just realized that I am closing at work Monday. So no live Chuck, Event, or Castle for me. Dammit. And closing Tuesday as well, so no live Glee.

BOO-URNS!

Schwartz and Fedak interview with TVGuide went up today. Spoilers obviously.

I am glad it sounds like the team will be back together by the end of the first episode. Chuck/Sarah/Casey playing off of each other always added a lot to the action portion of the show. Even more now that Morgan will be a part of it.

Also, less than 24 hours to go!

Another edit. Just saw a Chuck commercial on NBC. Good to see that it is at least getting some promotion during the one thing NBC has that gets good ratings (NFL).

Hopefully this will be the day we convert Solo back to our cult!

We shall see!

+ Schwartz and Fedak having learned from S3
- completely gutted writer's room

Could go either way.

So pumped for tonight!

I finished my re-watch of last night, and I definitely enjoyed season 3 a lot more the second time. I guess since I didn't have to worry about how the Chuck/Sarah thing would end up I could just relax and enjoy the ride.

The picture of Jeff and Lester that the news shows at the end of the S3 finale still cracks me up.

11 hours to go!

Oh man, I can't wait. Hopefully there will be a well-placed commerical break so I can catch the last half of Adventure Time (The first half's been on CartoonNetwork.com for a few days).
