awesome episode. I just have a really bad feeling they will Kill off Awesome this season. I cant explain it soon as Ellie said she was pregnant I got the feeling awesome will be killed off.
Very solid premiere! Not a classic by any stretch, but it still handily outstripped most of last season. The character dynamics and relationships are so well defined now that it feels like getting together with old friends whenever the show starts back up. So that was definitely working for me, and I love being free of relationship horseshit from the word go, and the season arc seems like it could be a winner.
What I dont like is how, once again, theyve reset so many of the pieces. Suddenly the Buy More is back, and Ellie (and by extension Awesome) have no idea that Chuck is a spy. A little too cute and convenient for me. Also, the episode wasnt side-splittingly hilarious like the show can be at its best. Overall though, lots of fun, great character moments, but with some unfortunate resetting of the board.
- the Predator handshake scene :lol
- Chucks hair is weird in every goddamn season
- holy fuck Harry Dean Stanton looks like he has a foot in the grave
- Morgan: it stands for sex writing :lol
- man, the CGI never gets any better; fucking awful as shit, haha
- Morgan: shall I hold your hand? :lol
- I didnt like I must break you and if you die, you die Rocky IV lines this show is usually a bit less obvious than that
- Michael Carmichael :lol
- WTF was up with the janky-ass snow? Chuck and Morgan had been inside for several minutes and there was still giant flakes in their hair/beards :lol
- the sexting between Morgan and Sarah :lol
