Loved the ep.
But there is one thing I didn't get.

If Volkoff/Tuttle/Winterbottom is Agent X, how come Mama Bartowski didn't know all that time? It seems all a bit strange to me.

How do you know she didn't know that?

India is my new favourite person. I remember her from this short lived show on BBC

LARGE ASS PHOTO FROM SAID SHOW

Good lord I wish she was on the Cat Squad too. Her + Zondra....... so good!

Watched the most recent episode last night and really enjoyed it. The old lady was completely awesome. Curious to see how the Agent X thing plays out now.

I caught up on the last four episodes yesterday since I was putting off a paper and I really like where this season is heading for the finale.

The Agent X arc isn't all that interesting to me. Looks like the writers are running out of ideas.

I'm the complete opposite. It's one of the more interesting Arcs we've had IMO. I like it way more than the season 3 Arc.

There were a lot of subtle hints at it throughout the entire season. I'm very impressed.

Good point, but still why hide that fact?

Casey said it in the episode. The CIA went through a lot of trouble to cover up the fact they created one of the most evil men in the world and if they found out the team knew so, they'd be dead.

I must be dumb because I didn't see the twist coming. I thought we were going to get a third Bartowski kid or something, haha. I wasn't paying that much attention though.

Don't worry, given the full body-scan thing that the computer went through just to even decrypt the files at all, I kind of expected Ellie to become some sort of supersoldier by the end of all this. Which would have been moronic.

The bigger question is what's to be gained by "fixing" Hartley? It's not like his change of heart is going to suddenly convince them to release him from a CIA lockdown. Obviously beyond just taking down Volkoff Industries, I'm guessing that the reward for this is what ties into that "potential cliffhanger for season 5" that was alluded to.

Just watched.

Thought it was one of the better episodes this season.

It felt really long, like 3 different episodes....and thats a good thing.

The Kesha song was interesting. Repeating the same line 3 times? WTF.... but they integrated the lyrics into the dialogue well (out the backdoor! Boom!)

I felt like that too, I really assumed it was going to be Mary Bartowski or something like that.

I was paying attention though =(

It's always this way with Chuck fans. Before the episode aired, no one even speculated that it might be Volkoff. After, everyone is like "I called it!".

It's kinda funny that it turned out to be Volkoff. It's brilliant that after nearly a season, we still have no idea who Volkoff/Tuttle/Agent X really is, despite having two separate twists around his identity.

Well, I may have called it a couple of weeks ago - Volkoff/Hartley becomes the team's handler instead of Beckman!

That would make for an awesome season 5 imo.

I hope we get answers soon, if his daughter finds out he isn't "really" a bad guy what will she do?

How much of him was still left after the intersect was put in? Did he have his daughter before or after he was "Volkoff"?

I don't know - that seems like a very strange turn of events and it would be kind of tough to sell. I'm glad the Volkoff arc is getting good now - it still is pretty strange how hard and fast Vivian V. turned, and while I think they did it a little too quickly I'm very interested to see how this all plays out!

And oh yeah, Chuck day! Seems like a long time since Awesome actually said "Awesome" like that. Or, maybe I am just forgetting.

Well I just stole the idea from Alias.

One thing that bothers me, why did Orion use the intersect on Volkof? Didn't Orion also have an intersect? And it really bothers me that they use all the time and effort building up Volkof as bad guy/bad ass and then before the season ends they tell us that originally, he was "just a scientist" and now they have to "fix" him? WTF? All this drama is just unnecessary anyway, why the hell is Ellie poking into all of this spy business all of a sudden? When she was the one who hated Chuck's spy life and really believed that it was dangerous. And now she has a daughter, she wants in on it too?

I really wished that 'Push Mix' was the last episode of the show. For the most part, the back 11 episodes have really sucked. The story and drama is just too forced and makes little to no sense at all.

It seems that that Volkoff was the first intersect, and the fact that it was such a failure is the reason for everything that's happened to the Bartowski family since then. Unless I've missed something.

That might be true, but I still find it really lame.

I thought it was pretty neat. Obviously a retcon, but it's kind of a good reason for Mama and Papa Bartowski to have given up everything for their spy lives, even their family.

I may think less of it had it not been that Timothy Dalton is amazing.

Last week had Sarah in a bubblebath last week....and we have no new 'Yvonne Night' .jpg?

Good episode thusfar.

EDIT: ...although didn't they already do this spyplot after the PSP of doom? (The one with Rob Riggle?)

wow Vivian really just dissapeared Batman Style?

way to kill any tension by Having Sara be the one at the end. I mean I am sure they would kill her off..... :rolleyes

I want chuck to end and have a Morgan spin off.

I thought anyone in the world would die instantly with that thing... I mean, the guys at the table died right away. Wonder how they keep her alive...

Also, the MI6 guy was hilarious. Ray Wise just shoots him as he tries to explain his clever method for infiltration.

She does have the benefit of immediate care by two doctors, with one of them a neurologist and the other a cardiologist. Could help I suppose.

The MI6 guy's monologue and shooting was probably my favorite part of the episode. That and Morgan talking to Casey about Breaking Bad. That was also hilarious. The other high points was Sarah's confusion to the Star Wars reference, followed by the Imperial March when Morgan entered the room of bad guys. Actually, as has been normal this season, everything involving Morgan was great. I also liked Casey's line about taking off the guy's pants.

On the hand I just don't buy Vivian as a bad guy. I am actually fine with having someone be evil just for the sake of being evil, but if you are going to give them motivation, have it be a motivation actually worth being evil over. I am also still trying to figure out exacting how she could possibly have escaped without one of the three people standing right there not noticing or stopping her.

Also, a note to TV producers, if you are going to try and have a shocking ending to an episode where someone might die, chose somebody that might realistically be written out of the show. Not a lead that everyone knows will be fine. Unless the season/serious finale twist is that Sarah actually dies. That would be pretty shocking. But I somehow doubt it.
