Season 4 DVD/Blu release date is set as 9/6/11.

And the cover art is just as horrible as I feared, since it is based on early promo images for the season. Sigh. They will never match the season 2 cover art. They should have kept the James Bond spoof thing going after that.

Man, I just watched the last three episodes last night, and maybe it's because I hadn't been keeping up with this thread, but I love this show just as much as ever. I kept watching all these characters I've grown so sentimental towards over the years and thinking that the party was almost over. I'm so glad it's getting a proper ending, I'm going to savor the final 13.

I've been out of town so I had missed the finale until last night. I really enjoyed it overall and I like the idea of the team being freelance next season. I think that could provide a lot of fun story lines and scenarios. The one thing I'm on the fence though is Morgan being the intersect. I really hope that isnt the focus of next season...

Oh I must have read that wrong then, I thought they're at the same time. Must have mixed up the time zones.

But the problem from this past season with Fringe remains. Fringe and Supernatural are on at the same time. :(

But at least now I have something to watch at 8 on Friday, and now no conflict on Monday with How I Met Your Mother.

- Chuck Panel Confirmed for Comic Con Saturday Lineup
ChuckTV.net said:
Warner Bros. released their official list of TV shows headed to Comic Con this year and, of course, Chuck is on the list. WB reveals that the panel will be Saturday, July 22 at 10AM in Ballroom 20. A cast signing at the WB booth will likely be announced later.

Confirmed panelists are: Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Joshua Gomez, Ryan McPartlin, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Vik Sahay, Scott Krinsky, Sarah Lancaster and Adam Baldwin joining co-creator/executive producer Chris Fedak.

It saddens me to think that the next Chuck thread will be the final one we have. Except for the inevitable LTTP ones that will pop up now and again.

I hoped for an earlier start and that they finished the season before xmas with no brakes. :(

That is an odd time to start the show, since I can't imagine they are going to have a Christmas/January break just to bring back 4 episodes to end it. Maybe they plan on doubling up on some nights and having multiple episodes.

I am going to miss the ChuckDay Monday thread chatter and waiting for the ratings fallout haha.

Now it will be Chuck Fridays. There will still be ratings talk, but without the fear of cancellation laced into the discussion.

I guess I was thinking more after this season is over. It will be exciting to see how the show performs in its new slot though.

Didn't they do exactly that with season 1, having it premiere in October and end in late January?

I'm pretty excited about having a no pressure season (ratings be damned!) and a fixed end date that they're working towards. There's no guarantee that Schwartz & Fedak will stick the landing, but I can't think of a better situation heading into S5. It'll be fun to have one last season here with ChuckGAF. :)

Not nearly as interesting as those pics, but TV Guide is doing a special Chuck cover for Comic Con:

The special edition of TV Guide is always a hot collectible at Comic Con, and this year it’s even hotter as the cast of Chuck grace one of the four covers! Other features shows are The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, and The Vampire Diaries.

* All four collectible covers will be distributed at the Warner Bros. booth, #4545, on the convention floor throughout Comic-Con, beginning on preview night, Wednesday, July 20, and continuing through Sunday, July 24.

* For those not able to attend Comic-Con in person: Fear not! All four collectible covers will be on sale from July 21–28 at newsstand checkout wherever TV Guide Magazine is sold and will also be available at additional newsstands thereafter. The special issue can also be ordered online beginning July 12 at www.tvguidemagazine.com/comiccon.

Get more information, and see all four covers, at theWB.com.

Who's up for a Chuck series re-watch? I tried watching the pilot last night (played my S1 DVD on my PS3 and the DVD upscaler worked pretty well, the quality was pretty nice) and it is one of the better episodes of season 1.

Also, in episode 2, lol at Langston Graham saying that at least the intersect wasn't uploaded into Morgan.

- Comic-Con: TV's 6 Most Wanted Women
THR said:
Fans of Sarah Michelle Gellar may be surprised to hear that they could find themselves sitting next to her in ballroom 20. The last time the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star attended Comic-Con, she did so in costume.

That's one of many revelations to come out of our June 24 conversation with Gellar (the CW's suspense thriller Ringer), Jennifer Morrison (ABC's fairy tale drama Once Upon a Time), Britt Robertson (the CW's supernatural series The Secret Circle), Yvonne Strahovski (NBC's Chuck), Maggie Q (the CW's Nikita) and Anna Torv (Fox's Fringe).

After the actresses posed for what can only be described as a fanboy's fantasy, they gathered at the Montage Hotel to discuss the demands of the TV business, the advantages (and disadvantages) of genre TV and the keys to surviving Comic-Con in a no-holds-barred conversation moderated by THR's Lacey Rose and Borys Kit.
