It's got to the point now that whenever anyone mentions Greg Land I immediately think of those Tony Stark faces and the one of the lady doing the sex face with her leg up in the air. It's like a Pavlovian response. That's how I know I belong here.

"People are just afraid, and let fear overwhelm them." is such bad, quasi-blockbuster dialogue it should be accompanied by the Inception horn. Like all it needs is some goon like Sam Worthington gripping a sword a little tighter as rain starts to fall on the battlefield.

I want Secret Wars to be great. You make it so hard to like you sometimes, Marvel.

Looks very cool. I thought from the title it might be a tokusatsu-style book but this looks interesting as well. I'll probably spring for the physical book on this one.

Same artist as I Kill Giants, which I got for GAF Secret Santa in 2013 and is amazing.

Can't speak for Sonic Genesis myself (still haven't read it), but from what I remember of it I'd imagine you'd get by fine with just Worlds Collide. The Mega Man side of it in particular acts more as a love letter to the games rather than directly tying into the comic, and I don't remember much that you'd need from the comic part of Sonic to enjoy it either. All very self contained too, though it should make for a very nice jumping on point for rebooted Sonic. But yeah, it's mostly just about enjoying the fun of Eggman and Wily teaming up. Plus its a whole lot of great fanservice if you're a fan of the games.

Yeah the name is what caught my eye (for the same reason as you), but I've heard great things about I Kill Giants so I'm kinda interested in it.

I couldn't resist. It got me the free shipping so beautifully. Like $36 that never happens. I figured "fuck it what's the worst they could send" T__________________T I honestly woulda preferred a bloody beaten ass HC. Then I could at least legitimately complain to them. This is just a flick at the nuts. Enough to sting but not enough to do any damage.

Fuck dat noise doe physical 'til I die.

Thunderbolts #110, aka the Warren Ellis run. Very cool, it's all setup but I really like the style and writing. Why is Norman such a dick? I should read Dark Reign but it sounds like a impossible task as it's less event and more era it seems
