Is there a news-bomb about to hit about Robin? Because Tomasi and Gleason's book deserves some fucking sales spikes.

Don't solicits come out today?
Solicits should start trickling out anytime now, yes. And since Robin Rises ALPHA comes out in December, folks should be finding out more on what's happening with B&R today.

Sadly, I don't think it's ending.

I've been digging the cancerverse stuff with Rich, if only to get Rich back in a book

You know they'll make it Sam though, right? That would be trolling of the highest order. I love Rich and even I wouldn't pass that up.

Best case it's Sam's dad

I'd pass it up because Sam is shit, he's Miles tier in terms of replacements. No amount of shoehorning his dad to be some badass friend of Rockets is going to change that.

When Richard "Ryder" comes back, then just to pass the torch to Sam :D

It will just be another TuesdayWednesday

I've been reading through the first year and a half of B&R, and have been pleasantly surprised with all of the foreshadowing of Robin's demise. It wasn't really a great book until the kid went down, but it's fun to look for that stuff. The entire Terminus/War of the Robins arc feels like setup for his death in hindsight.

Yeah, it was! It was actually the Wild Animal Park. Or, uh, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park as I guess it's called now. I hadn't been for something like 10 years and my friend from work had one of the passes where you get someone else in for free with you, so I was more than happy to tag along.
It was just a very nice place to be. I enjoyed it a lot.
Birds are one of my favorite things to take pictures of, so I brought my camera along and did some of that, which was a lot of fun too. It felt like cheating having all these crazy-looking birds all around me in plain view in the aviaries when I'm used to waiting 10 minutes for a tiny not-even-very-impressive-looking bird to come out of the reeds at the Buena Vista Lagoon so I can get a photo of it. Haha
Also, there was this Bonsai tree garden which I thought was pretty great.

Hell yeah. That place kicks ass... when it's not a million degrees.

Has the death of what looks like
the Living Tribunal
in Infinity been addressed yet? Bear in mind that I keep up with Marvel on Unlimited so I'm at least six months behind.

No, I don't think so, not in anything I've read. Didn't that happen in Fantastic Four? It feels like it happened a long time ago, one of the early signs of Hickman's grand plans for the MU.

Edit: nvm, you're right. Prelude to Infinity

I need to finish Velvet, I don't know how I've held it off this long. It was so good, but at the time I was reading it I had so many comics to catch up on.

Just read three terrific #1s: Wicked + The Divine, Southern Bastards and Wytches. Holy shit Wytches was creepy as fuck. Great comics.

So do we have any good, educated guesses on what (Original Sin spoiler)
Nick told Thor
? That is one annoying tease that seems destined to have no payoff.

I don't play them nearly as much, but I'll definitely have to set comics to the side come Friday, when Bayonetta 2 comes out.

I don't know what to do. I haven't finished Hyrule Warriors, or Shadow of Mordor, and Bayonetta 2 is Friday. Plus I want to play through Bayonetta 1 again on the Wii U.

There are too many games.

Guys! Guys! Guuuuuuuys!

Guys!

I started reading the Stephanie Brown Batgirl run and holy Christ is it fantastic. Why did no one tell me how good this stuff is?! ComicGAF what the hell!

I feel like I mention this a lot! Or, i should be mentioning it a lot more. I love that run of comics

Small haul after going to FACTS (convention)

- First volume of Bru's DD was really cheap (€12). Was glad to find it, since I'm pretty much done with the Bendis run
- Daredevil Yellow is me taking another chance with Loeb, but I hear it's good
- Welcome Back Frank was another no brainer to pick up
- I bought the FF omnibus only because of this thread. Never been interested in FF, but folks here went crazy over this run, so I took a chance. At €55, I couldn't resist.

Loeb's Color series for Marvel are some of his BEST work. I liked Spiderman Blue specifically.

Yeah I hear Blue is excellent, def. on the read list as well.

Does that Fantastic Four omnibus include the whole run, in particular FF? You are in for a treat man

It has: Dark Reign: Fantastic Four 1-5, Dark Reign: The Cabal, Fantastic Four 570-588, FF 1-5. The second omnibus is coming out in a month. I haven't read anything FF, but apparently it's welcoming to new readers, so I just got it

Gotham Academy #1: Probably the new dc book i was most hyped for but I didn't like it much, seemed a little dull and for younger readers. I don't know what it exactly accomplished either, it didn't really establish the premise, or the school, outside of Olive having relationship problems and having "changed". Randomly critical 6/10.

It reminds me of Morning Glories without any of the mystery or character. People are just in school.

Filthy Slug

Crowd screaming like hounds at the heat of the chase/ All the colors of the rainbow flood my face
According to Tomasi's twitter feed,
Damian
is Robin. Not gonna post the cover because spoilers.

That cover is so fucking awesome.
I'm all for this, and I think Tomasi and Gleason have run a story where this outcome was genuinely earned. Also, what are the odds of a Robin solo book?

Going through Superior Foes. Finished issue 3.

Does Boomerang ever stop being a massive cunt?

Make no mistake, sometimes, like the bit with silvermane's tale, it is hilarious, but... yeesh.

A Robin book written and drawn by Burnham would be the best thing ever

Will it be possible to avoid the b&r spoiler until it's revealed in the book or will I just give up now?

Are the solicits out for Harley, Batgirl, Catwoman and Batwoman? I wanna see those covers. Oh and Gotham Academy.
