They are both huge issues. I could understand why people smurf of course but it does break the system for new players getting into ranked and makes the experience very shitty.

I honestly believe smurfs ruin this game more than the hackers. At least you know when you get a hacker, most of the time they get banned, but people wasting my time trying to lose on purpose is stupid as Fuck and you have no chance to punish them for it.

Well, I have a couple friends I want to play with who are much lower rank. Before we could play together on our mains and actually have some reasonably close matches. Now though I have to use a smurf and even if I handicap myself by going pistol only I still end up with 10+ k/d ratio. And there are still crazy amount of blatant 50 hour Eagles/LEMs.
Both cheating and requiring smurfs to play with low ranked friends certainly work out for Valve though.

Lightboost seriously cripples the color. It's not even worth turning on for CS GO.

My last game was against 3 smurfs. Hated it and it's not fun to play against.
Oh and for those wondering about Mirage. Yeah DO NOT play Mirage until thatglitch is patched. I was foolish enough to solo queue for it simply because I wanted to see how many people were doing it...sure enough in warm up 7/10 players in the match were trying to get into the spot and during the game all the CT's would do is try to get into the spot as well...
most recent game of mine had a guy throwing, went 2-20 in 34 rounds

1. For the record, Atsou trying to derank is still a better player than a MGE/DMG trying hard

I am also selling a shit-load of my skins since all prices are skyrocketing right now. My AK Case Hardened went up from 15€ to 20€ and many other skins experiencing the same.

edit: selling knives on the market can be the funniest thing ever! So I put up my knife on the market, 1min later a guy tried to undersell me by like 1-2€. I had to response and put it up for a cheaper price. 10seconds later he went down aswell. I did the same and he quickly adjusted his price again. Then I went insanely high and he followed me too only with a few cents cheaper than me. Then I put it up insanely cheap and he did the same, then I put it back on the regular price and I think we both are getting tired of it (he put his knife up with the same price as mine so whoever gets rid off his knife wins, fair chances.....lul

I hope all of you enjoyed your down time for the holidays but there are still lots of people that need killing. The winter weather and the snow isn't stopping our enemies. In fact some SAS guys ran into an old terrorist cell called the Arctic Avengers at site De_dust II, seems they brought the snow with them. Now I know you guys love your flashy guns with those silly little kill counters on them but I would recommend some form of discretion . You do know your kill counts are supposed to be classified right? Well anyway command sent us a winter warfare package and one of you get to test it out. Now don't let me catch you betting these away at the local casino! If you do I'll have to put you on your ass in the next group scrimmage. Eh, fuck it you can do what you want with them.

I went from a correctly calibrated display to light boost and the difference isn't that huge.

I'm not going to bother with saturation. Yes, I tried blur busters, the differences is so minimal. Lightboost also has input lag. Even with digital vibrance max it looks bland.

Suit yourself I guess, what method were you using for lightboost btw? Strobelight? I get minimal input lag on my VG278HE with it. This coming from someone who grew up playing original CS and CS:S (and quake/UT ofc) on CRT monitors.
The difference in the blur busters motionblur test with lightboost vs 120hz is night and day for me.

I used the Benq's version of strobing called Blur Reduction and Blur Busters to tweak it. It differs from Asus's version from what I heard. Asus has better contrast.
