Any idea what this is gonna be ?
Probably a reboot.

"It's not a reboot" is classic comic book marketing talk.
DC also said New 52 and COIE weren't reboots at the time too lol.
Ironically, I'd argue the major flaw with both is that they were full reboots.
Not saying this is a similar situation, but DC keeps trying to have its cake and eat it too by choosing to keep certain books' histories but discarding the rest, without realizing that everything is tightly bound together.
I'm curious if this'll end up being what DC has been inching towards for years now: a full return to the Silver Age status quo, where they officially say that all continuity is out the window, and the only thing that matters is the current story.
I believe it was rumored that they were moving to that policy, but I don't recall it being officially stated.
we've made a huge mistake...here's wally back.
Yes please.we've made a huge mistake...here's wally back.

That would excellent. That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
Yes please.
Shut yo damn mouth. Unless you're talking about Harper. I really don't care about Harper.
Bro don't even with this. That would excellent. That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
Excuse me?That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
The thing is that it wouldn't be the Wally y'all are so horny for.
It's a damn shame Johns was never allowed to have multiple Flash comics like they had GL comics.
That would excellent. That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
Meet me somewhere. That would excellent. That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
Hopefully it means the return of Maxima. Unless she's back already and no one told me.

It's why we end up with "comics are impossible to get into" comments and threads every once in awhile. Some people are really, really invested in continuity.

I'm told they're superior to western comicsI blame those japanese mangos
It's impossible. DC would get called out as racistI'd do a little dance if we got ginger Wally back properly.
That bugged me, and still does. Like, Aquaman had two books at one point. I never got why there was only one singular Flash book. Is it really just to keep everything on Barry?
Wha?
It's in a fine place right now, let's not go back to the days of Orpheus.
There's nothing stopping them from giving Bart his own book.Exactly. For all the shit Johns gets for his Jordan fetish, the dude went above and beyond to NOT kick Kyle to the curb. Kyle, Guy and John all got their own books on a regular basis, which continues to this day. Shame Flash didn't get likewise, given how awesome that mythology could be - Flash: Rebirth really does feel like a great idea that ended prematurely.
but barry is the second coming

Funnily enough, people found that fascinatingIt's honestly why I made the multiverse thread to try and help with continuity confusion.
That would excellent. That and getting rid of all these batfamily members.
I'm pretty invested in continuity when it works in favor of character and world development. If writers feel they can do that better without a tie to continuity, I'm down for this. They still have a whole history to work with if they want to, and I can just jump on the with the next writer. They could and should do that, but that won't stop fans from complaining.

Serious question: how is Jim Lee qualified to run DC comics? He doesn't seem remotely qualified for the job. He is obviously a great artist, but I don't see how this qualifies him to run the entire company.
Funnily enough, people found that fascinating
Because he founded and ran one company before it was acquired by DC Comics.
Good to have friends.A company that he had to sell to DC after 5 years because they were bleeding money. Not exactly the best resume.
Also, running a comic book company that publishes ≈5 comics a month (some of which were creator owned) doesn't exactly prepare you to be the publisher of DC.
