Glad they are sticking with Cyborg and Blue Beetle is coming back. On the surface, it seems they've abandoned the feel and variety of the DCYou.

If BB is Ted, I hope his maid from that Convergence mini is in the book. They'd played off each other well. I think her name was Tracy. That book had good art, too.

It was definitely Didio's idea, and I doubt it was a creative one as much as it was a business one. Johns didn't care for the idea of a reboot (iirc he had big plans for flash, was going to have a flash family book), but yeah I think he was one of the creative forces behind it, alongside Rucka and I think Morrison. It was either John's or Didio's interview on Fatman that goes into more detail a bit.
Eitherway it was impromptu and not very well planned.

You know I'm all for this. Hopefully this brings things back closer to the way they were pre New 52. Prices coming down are certainly nice also. Hopefully that will put some pressure on Marvel to lower their prices too.

It's funny because the original Crisis reboot was a last minute thing too. Maybe DC should try planning these out once in awhile instead of hitting the panic button every time sales drop.

It's not rebirth, it's the cover for JL 50 which is the last issue before Rebirth. You are probably getting Deja Vu because it's meant to invoke this

I like the idea of DC Unlimited but I feel like they would probably fuck it up. I would like to read like the Batman and Superman stories from the 40s and 50s that are rarely reprinted that are probably not worth paying full price for but are cool from a historical perspective. Instead they would put all the well known shit up and it would turn into "I'm paying 10 bucks a month to read the Killing Joke again".
