Maybe we can see less Didio showing up in comics, I always was left wondering if a writer or artist was trying to pander to him.

Not "people." It's the more mainstream, non-comic readers that tend to only care about Batman. Besides, DC only makes it worse by constantly pushing Batman far FAR more than any other properties. Granted, they've been doing better, but it's still weighing heavily in Batman's favor.

Their DVD line is literally Batman and friends and this point.

I saw someome joke maybe we all missed some clue in Final Crisis and Darkseid actually won and the New 52 has been the Omega Sanction, a "helm without exit or end"...then I realised that sounds Morrison as fuck and I kind of want it.

Nah you just need some more Batman in ya life. They still need to do Venom, Knightfall, hell you could pull a separate Jean-Paul movie, one based on the Gotham show, Batman R.I.P, like five Black & White anthology movies, Lovers & Madmen. The Bat ride will never Bat end.

The only movie that got cheated was Wonder Woman which then cancelled the plan for Batgirl year 1.
Basically Wonder Woman sold as much as the others just much slower so they said it failed.



JL: Gods and Monsters was an awful waste of a slot.

They'll only greenlight it if it's called Justice League Blitz.

For the record it started out as a grabbag of comic adaptations then they figured that only Superman, Batman, Geoff Lantern, and JL was worth making.

Then the movie flopped and it was Superman Batman JL. Now it's just Batman with some Justice League on the side.

This mirrors my feelings. Didn't know about DC You, but it sure worked for me. Midnighter and Grayson got me back into DC. I'm not intimidated by continuity. Hell, I relish it. I just preferred books that deviate from the standard superhero books. Even with Marvel, I only timely follow Squirrel Girl and Silver Surfer, their more off-beat books.

Nah. There's good and bad, but I've read some enjoyable stuff from him. Far from a hack.

Comic book writers and artists are like cell phone carriers, you will always find someone that loves and hates them. Johns GL work got me into that character and I like most of his other stuff.

I feel Liefeld is the only exception, everyone hates him.

I for one haven't been more excited for comics in years. I'd rather have pre-52 back lock stock and barrel, but this seems like a good compromise and could really bring the lapsed 52 haters back.

I spoke too harshly about Johns and I was wrong. My brother got me to read some of his Justice League and I did enjoy the characterization. So my bad, Johns. You're cool.

I just find it weird. What was the intention of Flashpoint anyway? I thought DC was having a good time after Blackest Night/Brightest Day?

Blackest Night did very well but Brightest Day really struggled. DC's market share #s weren't that bad because the overall market was doing badly. Say what you will about the new 52 but it did bring a lot of interest to the market.

Yup. Without it, I doubt I would have made such a big effort to get into comics.

Made him less angst badass who was the future clone son of ARGH, you know what they did, hopefully got rid of that horrible back story. The only thing I find remarkable is he looks.....you know..........fun. Like Young Justice fun. But that's impossible, we all know how Didio is about such things

It seems like both sales and interest in DC took a massive plunge following "The New 52". They should consider rolling back every last character that affected.
