So I just hit Day 3 (~1am now) and umm, I don't have any messages? It feels weird not having anything messaged to go do. Are there any things I should be doing? I wonder if there's something that does get unlocked with the 72k but we just haven't found it yet? Maybe some pre-conditions have to be met first? Because I sure as hell won't do that for 20 measly points.

What's the easiest way to get the Genocider achievements?
I figure bike magazine and SUV magazine, then driving around the platinum and silver strips, ducking in to a casino when one breaks.
My problem is: Where's a good place to chainsaw up your bike and is it possible to do this before the snipers show up?

Chainsaw can be found on the silver strip where the concert stage is. Its up top on one of the lighting rigs i guess they would be called. Climb onto the speakers to get up there on the back of the stage.ShockingAlberto said:

SUV method is the less risky way. Right when the game starts ignore all story and Survivors/Psychos, make a Spiked Bat, and Defiler, maybe grab the 50% health book and Orange Juice, and a couple Skateboards. Then, grab the Durability Mag in Americana Casino, exit to Platinum Strip, hop on the Bike in front of the Arena and go to the SUV.
Just keep at it, resetting the Zombies every 2000-2500 kills. If you are going to save, do it in the middle of the Fortune Park, so you don't waste time running through a Casino to a bathroom.
There is a Chainsaw on the left rafters of the stage on the Silver Strip, jump on the speakers to get to it. I used the Sliceycle (with no Magazine) for about 10K of my kills, but I'm not sure if it helped or hampered.
The Snipers don't really have an effect on the SUV, I never worried about them. It was funny when every so often I would see a Zombie head explode before I ran it over. :lol

Doing a bit better at TIR tonight, came first in:
Slicecycles- 4 times
Headache- I was tied pointwise with someone else but it put me as first and him second so not going to complain
Pounds of flesh- hate this game, im rubbish at it but got into a game with people who were even worse
Master shafter- owned them in this one totally, I think I was on 12k points, 1 person had 2k and the other 2 had 0 :lol
Zomboni- just won at this as well

And ramsterball, 2 to go!

$6M achievement has to be done in 1 or multiple playthroughs?

ATMs can be found in all of the casinos IIRC and there were some in silver strip too.

You know what bothers me about the non-Overtime ending?
Chuck clips Sullivan's torso to the scaffolding. The evidence Sullivan had was in his backpack. Logically, all the evidence went with him, unless it simply fell to the ground, in which case it was probably ruined.
Wait, how come you saved so money survivors but only got 150k PP from saving them? Don't you get ~10-20k per?
Or did you hit max level at some point and stopped getting any PP from saving them?
*edit, nm I'm guessing that's just a bonus amount you get for having that many when you complete it and not a break down of PP earned from saving them.

has capcom or blue castle said anything about a patch for the save bug in the xbox 360 version where it kicks you out in coop? Other than that this game is great.

Ive save a few times without dropping but then sometimes it does drop. Weird. I've just been playing with my brother both our games are installed to the hard drive. First night every saved kicked me out. Tonight the first save kicked me out but the second time didn't. I was just trying to find out what is causing it so I wouldn't do it if I could help it.

Just caved in and double dipped by buying the PC version. I had a 10% off coupon for Impulse, so I decided I just had to play the GOTY in its superior form. I will keep my 360 version for the co-op with my friends, but single player will be PC only. Can't wait to start a new file though and go through the game again.
Is there just an issue with my TV or does this game have some ghosting issues? Like sometimes when I jump I see a trail of Chuck, or it'll happen randomly in action. Much more disorienting than the framerate drops. 360 version.
Pretty awesome so far though, I had my doubts about the game being outsourced and all but it's better than the first one in a lot of ways. I'm on Case 3 and I think I might restart the game but I dunno.

Do all the achievements have to be in one playthrough?

Well after having quite a bit of trouble with the CURE guy, and the groom, I had a great session yesterday. I was a few levels up from before, but still only about 12. A friend of mine told me about painkillers, and I found a nice setup in the slot ranch for those.
Ended up doing the chef, postman, slappy and the groom all in quick succession. Just done katies 2nd zombrex (still first play through) so Overall a really good time. I've got some basic runs setup from the safe house for knife gloves, spiked gloves and that axe/hammer thing, so i'm ready to go exploring further afield.

Finally finished the game with S rank at level 31. The final boss was a total bitch, took me 5 or 6 attempts before I could take him down.
Fantastic game, miles ahead of the first one. I really hope Capcom was serious when they said they want Dead Rising to be their #1 franchise, I think its definitely a possibility with Blue Castle at the helm.

Worse one was when I was going to fight sullivan, and knew what to do and where to go, but she still called me 3 times to talk about the same things when I was surrounded by special infecteds and the in the sullivan fight... of course I know he is in the top of the yucatan casion, im fighting him right now bitch!, and I you dont get the phone that horible beep is in the backgorund.

This is why I always save again in the toilet right after. Never trust "auto" saves!

I've got a question about a mission during one of the last cases:
Can I give TK the zombrex at once or do I have to wait until they call me back or something like that? It shouldn't matter, but I just wanna make sure.
