Saw it with my parents for my mums birthday.

I fucking loved it. Lots of laughing from the first moment. The structure was done well and lead to honestly one of the best romances in a superhero film. Deadpool was of course the highlight, but I really liked all the side characters a lot. Overall just gotta say that the humour was ON POINT.

My parents liked it a lot too. My mum said "it was one of the best films" she's seen in the cinema "in a while".

Only one kid was there from what I noticed, but his family came in during the opening scene and spent ages trying to find a seat in the middle/back which was super annoying.

Best bit was
T-Rex.

Solid movie. I rooted for Wade, the detergent bad guy served his purpose, and my main concern going into this movie - that the only Deadpool I knew was from the video game and he was annoying, but here the humor is just right. Even Deadpool's 'thing' with the cab driver was perfect.

Hope to see more acrobatics and swordplay in the sequel, because those were awesome.

Also, Vanessa....... *phew**** @_@

//Question//: Deadpool's eyes were CG right?

Yep, she's very pretty.

That was really fun. Thankfully the scenes without Reynolds are few and far between because good lord he is literally 99% the reason to watch this.

I dunno about best x-men movie. I wouldn't put it over 2 or dofp tbh but it kept me entertained for sure. The fourth wall breaking shit like
referencing McAvoy/Stewart or the Jackman stuff was great.
And even when the jokes don't land Reynolds moves quickly to the next one.

Colossus was lovable as hell too, would like him back in the sequel which I am down to watch immediately

Basically felt like a superhero equivalent of ferris bueller

Damn shame how bland the plot and villain is. But luckily like I said you're mostly with wade wilson so it's not too much of a drag

Man I think this made me a Reynolds fan dude rocked

Days of future past is surprisingly rewatchable. And for all the shit I give Singer, I enjoyed it much more than the last avengers movie, and basically any marvel movie aside from the first avengers and Winter Soldier.
I also think he made the best superman world, and John Ottman has been giving him the best superhero movie soundtracks for the past decade.

Ottman fucking killed it with xaviers theme in dofp. That piano track was beautiful

Speaking of soundtracks junkie xl's main riff (those beat it synths God damn) was great but it should have been used more clearly. Should have mixed it louder within the action

what a great movie, the writers really nailed it sharp jokes and dialog.

the part where deadpool says xavier? mcavoy or stewart was great.

it's an odd description to make for collosus and negasonic but i found them kinda adorable. especially when he
gives her that protein bar, or when collosus notices gina carano's boob hanging out and warns her about it.

Don't forget. Fox gave them FUCK ALL budget and it's a movie about Deadpool. The plot is effectively placeholder so that Deadpool can do his thing. The villain was just prick enough for you to hate him without being memorable. Which was completely intentional I can assure you.

Upon a second watch I kinda realised this movie had more nuance than it had any right to.

Watched it today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved alot of the jokes but some flew right over my head. For some reason the movie felt a little short though. Like when they were gearing up for the final showdown I thought "wait, this movie isnt about to end is it?". And it gave us the Colossus we deserved.

Got them tickets. Gonna watch this in a couple hours and I was told that they deleted many scenes here in Malaysia.

What the fuck.

Not to mention there's hardcoded subtitles in cinemas here.

I'm afraid my father won't understand any of the jokes in the movie. I'm actually pretty sure he won't. Hopefully there'll be enough action to entertain him though.

shit was good/10

did feel a bit short though. maybe it was for the best as the tightness is probably one of its strong points. even when the humor faltered a bit it moved quickly and something else hit well not too long after.

loved the supporting cast. ajax was real good at being an asshole, gina looked good, colosus and negasonic were perfect foils for deadpool.

I've always liked Reynolds. He's made some bad movie choices, but he's really quick witted, and has a great dry crassness to him that's difficult to pull off but absolutely perfect for this role. If nothing else, I hope this character and franchise brings him much success because the dude's been trying to get it done since it was incredibly obvious that he is Deadpool after Blade 3.

I'm just thinking if it could surpass Captain America, Thor and Ant-Man numbers?

Captain America - US $177M Foreign $194M
Captain America 2 - US $260M Foreign $455M

Thor - US $181M Foreign $268M
Thor 2 - US $206M Foreign $438M

Ant-Man - US $179M Foreign $338M

I think it passes the initial entries, might have a harder time getting into sequel numbers but will depend on how willing people will be to see it again (I think they will be pretty willing)

Reynolds is the kind of actor that fits the same kind of mold as the likes of Channing Tatum. He's generally a good actor and legitimately gifted in comedy and funny roles but due to his inherent "Hollywood good looks" he's always predisposed to shitty action roles that undermine some of his real talent.

I'm glad he finally got the role he deserved. He's a natural in this.

I've been a huge fan of Reynolds since 2 guys, a girl and a pizza place but sadly since then he hadn't been in many shows or movies that were worth watching at all so I'm glad that he finally got to do what he loves.

Just saw it today here in Jakarta, Indonesia and let me tell you i have never seen lines this long for a movie. The theater was absolutely packed and i went to a 15:00 showing. The later ones were full too definitely. Word of mouth here was extremely positive from what I have heard. Unfortunately the sex scene was cut here but most of the gore made it through. Also there were a surprising number of kids in the theatre.

Movie was awesome. But I felt many people didn't get the references here because you have to be somewhat familiar with US pop and comic culture. Still, many cheers were had during the action sequences. Loved the end credits as well. Very funny. Good times. Looking forward to the sequel.
