Gamespot gave it a 7
And in the negatives they write this

Geoff Keighley Score 1000/10
Gaming press Score between 85-90
So between 89-91
DF video is now up. Seems to be better IQ, slight resolution improvement and ps5 pro doesn't have some graphical ailments the base does. Both versions meet 30/60 targets in quality/performance modes. They said barely any difference in the pro quality and performance modes too I think, so play on performance on proHow is the PS5 pro version vs the standard?
switch 2 is cooked by not having this game.Incredible reviews
GOTY

Apparently Pro upgrade is minimal; slightly higher resolution and finer distance detailsHow is the PS5 pro version vs the standard?
Also, is there anything that moves over from the first game if I have a save file.
Im trying to avoid any spoilers. Not watching that DF video
I have to say this doesn't look that good. I dont think I managed more than 2 hours of the original before deleting it, and it appears this is just more of the same..
Another year, another Sony game getting a 90+ approval on metacritic. People keep saying that this is the worst gen for Sony/Playstation, but it is the only publisher that year after year keep putting bangers with high critical approval on the market.
Didn't look that minimal to me between the SKU's. The takeaway was pretty close to quality mode on base model at 60fps. It was noted that on the Pro the difference between quality and performance was minimal. (ie not much reason to run quality mode on the Pro). Sounds like a title hitting the stated Pro target. Quality at 60fps.Apparently Pro upgrade is minimal; slightly higher resolution and finer distance details
Wasn't an ign france reviewer trying to equate that games like "stellar blade" are responsible for killing womenIGN France gave it a 60.

heh, well. Each to their own. The gameplay loop was too tedious for me, and the incoherence of everything else wasn't enough to keep me interested.
Sony itself considers this game first-party. lolGood stuff. Gamespot is a piece of garbage.
Well, still is. This is not first party doing btw, so IDK what are you fucking doing. Lets keep this fanboy attitude out of the review thread please.

Push Square is one of the toughest sites regarding PS games scores. It's funny that the comments here complain about the reviews with lower scores lmao
As if they were less biased than reviewers like "PSX Brasil", "Push Square", "Meu PlayStation" and other PlayStation fansites that push the average up with their generalized scores of 9 and 10 for any exclusive.
Continuing the trend from DC. I think the desire for divisiveness may have been overstated. The only thing Im apprehensive about is quite a few reviews saying its easier and a more chilled experience than the first.
I'm torn between an 87 and an 89. This game has powerful "high 80's" energy.
It looks beautiful and ambitious but the high concept won't click with everyone and you'll get a couple of the standard "Kojima would rather make movies than games" reviews. The original got an 82, and I expect the sequel will improve on that by at least a few points.
I think that Death Stranding as a series cannot be considered Sony exclusive any more.
Timed exclusive yes, and we can also safely assume that without Sony we wouldn't have it, considering they provided the engine and enormous support.
But it's not an exclusive imo.

Up to 92 now. Fuck yeah!
While it's amusing to see the usual jibbering apes get excited to throw their feces anytime Kojima is mentioned somewhere on GAF the fact is this: you don't need to like Kojima or his games but if you are incapable of acknowledging his astronomical impact on the medium, his creativity, his unique vision and his overall drive to push the medium forward then you have absolutely no business talking about videogames in any capacity, period. Your opinion is worth less than dog shit baking under the summer sun. To take it further, I doubt any of these people have actually played a Kojima game, safely ignore everything they have to say about, well, anything.
Please read again. It's in Xbox, how it is exclusive?
Fucking rollercoaster!
