I was talking about this with a friend yesterday, would be awesome to potentially reforge the word of crota into a fatebringer... but I wouldn't have really thought that reforging would be allowed for raid type weapons/gear.

I think reforging is limited to post HoW weaponry (fixed, typed weaPORNY, jesus)
But like you said, it'd be GREAT to reforge older weapons. Don't think Raid weaponry can be reforged. The perks usually are fixed, like Exotics.

It's a shame I sharded (typed sharted.. my god) my trusty Shadow Price though. O well! First thing I'm getting is that new HoW autorifle. DAT IMPACT!

Let's hope Bungie listens again and makes EVERY legendary reforgeable

Fantastic, currently sitting on 34 exotics shards, so as long as the gatekeeper glimmer farm still exists I should be able to get everything up to the latest and greatest very quickly

Going to try and farm some more exotics shards as well in that case as I like having a large surplus

Hard Crota will be much easier, since now enemies are level 33 and we are only 32. It will probably be like running normal crota now

No cap on VoG, you don't outclass enemies just do more damage to them the higher level you are.... I think...

It also works for the Eris quest where you need rapid secondary kills, as it is technically classed as a secondary weapon type.

And about the VoG, is it worth doing the raid on normal mode now?

Not sure if you got an answer to this: if it's your first run I would do normal first just to get a feel for how the raid works. Best option would be signing up for hawkian's noobie raid, he alternates them every week, alternating between crota and VoG.

BTW energies are only worth 200 glimmer because first you convert them to shards for 50.

It's a new consumable needed to upgrade your old legendary gear to the new stat level. You get them from Arena, Nightfalls, Raids, Iron Banner, and Trials of Osiris.

• Legendary Weapons: 750 glimmer, 20 planetary materials, 1 etheric light
• Legendary Armor: 750 glimmer, 20 planetary materials, 1 etheric light

Yeah, some armors just have a big 'OH THIS DOESN'T BELONG ANYWHERE.

The best part about the set I posted, the white collar on the chest piece changes color-with the MIllion-Million shader it's made white, and it's a natural fit with the helmet(despite the helmet not changing colors.)

It's great. It's sexy.
