"Long Live the King"
Because of the nature of Raids - repeatable cyclical activity, there is (and to me, always has been since my days in Vanilla WoW) a sort of black comedy to killing an epic, once-believed immortal god and then returning the following week to kill him again hoping he drops new pants.
When I wrote the names and descriptions for the Raids, I wanted to play with this so that the text embraces the nature that the Raid is always alive and waiting to try and destroy you.
I also wanted them to all feel similar (emotionally). Ominous, mysterious, as though they were written by the same hand.
