Yeah but it wasn't clear though. I infused my 310. I bought 2 others and didn't infuse with them. Now I can't. Bummer.
But whatevs. It doesn't hurt me because I'm a weapon part hoarder. Also I like patrol, so I pick up coins and motes quite often. I think they (and when I say "They" I mean you, Luke) need to use surveys or ask opinions before rolling out this cra- I mean stuff.

I don't know why people were looking forward to Iron Banner. It's literally Destiny PvP at its lowest point; insane lag, terrible teammates if you're playing solo, opponents spamming shotguns like cowards, it's insufferable. I want the pulse rifle and the hunter cloak so I must endure. Trials is immensely superior.

I didn't read it that way. Here's today's patch notes.
End-of-match rewards now include both weapons and armor (including items available on Lord Saladin)
but then there this from what I'm assuming is last week or two weeks ago's update:

Yep. I'm gonna try and finish off Oryx today and I'm done running the full raid for a while. No point in chasing max light at any point tbh. You'd figure we'd learn this after a year. I'm to the point after today where I realize all the time I put into this game isn't worth much in the long run in its world.
Get max level exotics? Here comes an level increase that makes your current gear shit.
Get a cool gun you like? Max level? It was a mistake. -20 points.
We added a cool new function to the gunsmith where he sells you guns every week. Want to level said guns up to try them out? You'll need weapon parts for that. BTW did we mention we are nerfing the amount you can get even more?
Strange coins? Who needs 'em? Let's nerf those too because surely everyone has thousands in the bank right?
Now don't get it twisted I'm not mad I'm just genuinely befuddled by a lot of these decisions. My play time is about to start tapering off...

_/¯this will never happen. Bungie wants you to log on to Destiny as much as possible. What you just hoped for is literally the opposite of what they are trying to do.

Coins and motes were not hard to come by. They were way too easy to get. I'm not surprised they changed it. They were becoming trivial.

Yeah, the spindle got its attack value dropped. It shouldn't matter at all as long as you're still at 300 light if it's equipped right? Because of that, I'm not worried. Besides, the spindle isn't my cup of tea for a sniper rifle.

Apparently you can only get current event drops from post matches, as in only what he sells for that week.
It's one way to milk the mode.
