Is there any kind of etiquette for Archon's Forge? Even if I don't have any keys, sometimes I just like to hang around and help out groups that are running the force stuff, since the drops are good and there's plenty of fodder for completing bounties.

Not at all. All guardians are welcome to the forge! The more, the merrier, and with more people can beat perfected SIVA offerings with ease

Pretty simple if you follow the many guides out there. All the hard work has been done by the initial people who did the quest.

I'm way behind everyone, but what are my best next steps? I've hit 349, will hit 350 shortly with a helmet.

Should I just do strikes to 365? I haven't done any AF yet. So a bit of both? Anything else to speed the grind along until then?

hunter frost boots are currently bugged and set your discipline to tier 0 for grenades (1 minute cd) once you sprint.

Take cover as soon as you hit red. Don't get greedy. Save your heavies for spawns. Make sure you're using void weapons for minotaurs, etc...

We finished it earlier and every death I saw was because we were being impatient or not using the correct weapon types.

The pvp part really isn't that bad. There's no reason to deny yourself the chance at the gun, especially when you can group with other gaf members to make it even easier.
