I think the only 2 that haven't been used is Archon Priest and Dust Palace, IIRC.
Some say you get both rewards (from bosses) when done on hard, but I am not sure. Try doing normal and see if you get something after the first boss.

Man, not sure why we couldn't close out the raid last night-- it's a good squad; we figured out our roles; communicated well-- but it just didn't happen. We did get AWFULLY close last night.
I really feel like I found a good groove with supplicant control: I liked to stay along the back wall, in the center of the room, once the portal's been opened. I found better angles to fire on incoming harpies, particularly when they're gathering at the portal doors. I never came into too much fire from them and I could get to them before they could self-destruct on me, as I had space to backtrack across that back landing.

My point was on the patronizing tone. Whatever, Raids have always been designed for high level play, on WoW or wherever. The difference is in those games you had to get through 60 or 70 levels of content first. Here, you can run the content in 20 hours. There is a difference, and instead of being such smug jackasses about it, they can address the wants and needs of this mass playerbase their marketing got them, rather that catering to a very small % of the player base that will get to the raiding point. They are doing the game, their customers and themselves a disservice with this approach.

Good to see at least some titans use the correct helm with the correct spec. Can't tell you how many Striker titan's run around with that helm in the Crucible... it's about the perks people, not the fact that's it's an exotic.

Anyone got any good strats to 'cheese' archon priest?
I use the splinter cell helm regardless of class, because it just looks so cool. One extra shot from golden gun doesn't break or make a game for me.

I don't think Matchmaking should be added to Raid but I welcome it to the side bar missions such as Daily, Weekly and Nightfall.

You can get loot from one of the Gorgon's chests.

I understand your point. I put a lot of hours into the game, and I appreciate alot that they put in high-level content though. The alternative, I think, would be for them to just not put in a raid. Or to replace the raid with some more low-level strike type activities. I like that there's a hard raid. I'm glad they put it in... But yeah people who don't put in the time are going to be mad that there is content which they can't access. I don't see a middle ground solution.
I'm almost certain that you can edit the description of game invites from Play Destiny! to whatever you want to say. Am I imagining that? I could've sworn I did it before.

There already is an option.
Iron Banner is already a failure to me if they don't offer raid level gear. Destiny needs alternate advancement routes via PvP badly.
I would be interested in raiding as well at that time.
I wear one sometimes, in crucible, with the striker subclass because it's got 100 int and quick melee.
I have two DURGA-GNT and a queen's guard helm and none of them are as good as the saint-14, even without the defender subclass ability.
They were teasing new gear altho I dunno the stats for it.

Lol I only discovered The Grottos yesterday. I couldn't believe I had missed all that in my 100hrs of play time. Seeing nothing but level 20 Hive on patrol was interesting.

Ok, that is excellent. Are you using "Armor of Light"?
I believe it's just shards. If you have a decent team with some decent guns, it shouldn't be too troubling.

Hopefully not Queen tier. Although, tbh, Queen's gear stat wise did seem better than all my "regular" Legendary gear....which annoyed me even more as I hate how it looks. I got a shader called Broadsword from the Cryptarch and the Queen's gear just does not work with it.

There is a middle ground solution. It's called matchmaking for raids. Do what WoW does and have different tiers of raids. So, instead of the current Normal Raid->Hard Mode Raid that we have, you make it Matchmaking Raid->Normal Raid->Hard Mode Raid. Adjust the loot as required. Lower the difficulty enough for matchmaking raids that your average "bad" matchmaking player can successfully run it given moderate effort.
