Do we know how the DLC is going to be for this game?
Is it even possible to rework the way the loot works, or add a serious amount of new enemies/designs to get it to where it needs to be? And how pissed are people going to be to have to buy DLC to do that?
And didnt Diablo have the chance to screw up on PC and make up for it on consoles?
Even so, the PC fans/the Diablo fanbase seem like they would stick through the game. Diablo seems revitalized because it wasn't on consoles before the issue, and the console version is different enough (local co-op) to have revitalized the game to balance both PC and console fanbases.
Does Destiny have the time to do that, or the same opportunity? On consoles, new games are going to overtake Destiny, and the motivation to improve the game seems pointless when they can just make a sequel.
Re-releasing it isn't possible. You only have to make a GOTY Edition in about a year, but there is no "new audience" like there was with Diablo on consoles, right?
Seems like there are some fundamental issues with NPCs, loot, story, mission design, and enemy variety... sure DLC can change all that, but it seems crappy to make people buy DLC.
Was Diablo's revamping tough or what? I imagine it was pretty impressive since impressions turned around quite well for that game. cant imagine that's an easy task.
