No man, don't misunderstand.
I'm not saying that you're wrong, it's just that in my younger days (univ) i commuted 70 min (one trip.. so 140 in total) every day to go to university.. and that's for 5 years and half...
I swore to myselft that I would NEVER, EVER find in the same predictament....
for that very reason, I moved like 8 months ago just outside of Milan to get near to the office (5 mins by car) and i bid farewall to beautiful milan city
If i had children I would consider a bigger house as a priority, as a single a 80 sqm house is enough... and I'd prefer being IN the city, rather then outside...
Plus I aim to get a dog, hence I want a big enough house, possibly near some green..
Yes I want a lot, but I offer a lot of committment (and solid results) during my @worklife.. usually I got offered in the uk is around 60k pound, but I always refused as London is a city i dislike..
I liked germany enough during my travel there and I assumed that a 60k pound to eur was a decent conversion all things considered, and I knew berlin to be quite cheap in terms of housing, and I assumed that this held true for all of germany..
turns out I'm terribly wrong and now I'm in an awkward situation, as it was me asking 65k eur, and I'm now faced with this amount being too little in munich to improve my lifestyle by even the tiniest amount :/ (actually i would earn less)..
