To each his own... Personally, I do not consider it legit and would rather play with others of a similar mindset.
damn. why not dex? i'm using a melee demon hunter and the pox faulds are great for it. mine has garbage rolls tho. i'll take 'em regardless.Gotta dual socketed pox faulds with +15% corpse spider dmg (Witch doctor) to give away as well if anyone wants.

no. you can skip them.In adventure mode I notice on the map there are some places with no bounty but do have bosses. Is there any benefit to doing these in addition to the bounties?
Sorry man. Helm's already taken unfortunately
Will def pass the next one to ya (if I get another that is.)
Got a spare akkan pauldrons though if you want.
Gladly. When my internet connection goes up (it's down again for no reason, seriously), I'll send you Rift Keys. Those things could be sent through mail, right?
Also, what's your PSN ID?
Yeah, I've played both the PC and console vanilla versions:
Console RoS >>>>> console vanilla >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PC vanilla
And PC RoS should be a good bit better than console too. Might pick it up when I get a new iMac.
I have a level 19 HC Monk, let's co-op.So started a barb up on Hardcore yesterday, playing on Hard, finished Act I at level 27. I'm wondering if the extra XP is worth the risk of playing on Hard, I mean it's not -that- hard, only ever got one or two "close calls" when I was under 1/3:rd of my health. IIRC, you don't ever get elite packs with multiple effects at the lower levels right? So I won't be getting Waller/Arcane or something that can result on near insta-deaths on T1 when leveling on normal-mode.
I'm mostly afraid of sudden jumps in difficulty, or if my gear hasn't followed the rest of the progression, are there any spreadsheets that explain difficulty jumps between acts and levels etc?
But my biggest fear is Malathel, was the hardest fight I had playing my DH on normal-mode (Master though)
When will they patch this to fuck off the hacked items, its broke the game and its been broke for weeks now.
Don't think so, no.Does PC RoS have Nemesis? Because man, that system is super cool.
It is, on the easier difficulties. When you play through it the first time set it as high as you can go (expert to the end of act 4, then master for act 5). Once you've beaten the game once you're in total control of the difficulty level.Just finished the demo on the 360 and enjoyed it. But is the full game as easy?
I don't think this is possible, sadly. I hope they consider something like seasons for console so that they can address this. I don't actually want seasons (unless I can level in adventure mode each time), but I would be more than happy for a full reset if it meant online only with no hacked items. When will they patch this to fuck off the hacked items, its broke the game and its been broke for weeks now.

The quest for the mask of Jeram continues. I had a nice rift run where I had two legendary drops and some set boots (the jade ones). One of the legendaries was a 2h mace that I just binned, the other was a voodoo mask that got me all excited. It turned out to be the carnevil mask, sadly. As I only have one piece of the zuni set I tucked it away into the stash for later.
I'm rolling with the fetish sycophants build just now, with the tall man's finger for the big dog. I have a homonculus and was using that up until recently, then I swapped it out for a Thing of the deep. I never realised how strong that was paired with the grave injustice passive. I use the wave of mutilation instead of piranahdo. I find it more satisfying throwing this massive wave of fish, and with half the cooldown it's up nearly all the time with grave injustice.
Mowing down the legions of hell with fish, angry knee stabbing furbies and toads. That's how I roll.

You are welcome.
First, I stated that I do this weeks ago in this thread. Everyone who is reading this thread was able to see it directly.

It wasn't a secret.
Second, when I come to a group with my other characters filling empty slots, I have absolutely no issue with keeping them out. If you send me a message to ask what's going on, I answer it, as I did with you. If you have a headset on, so do I, and you can directly ask me about it. Anyone who has played this game with me can tell you that if they ask for me to not have my side characters in the group, I keep them out without hesitation. I place the highest priority on respecting the desires of the other players of a group in this game.
Third, the last I recall reading a Blizzard employee post on the subject on PC, they actually did in fact state that multiboxing is allowed as long as all accounts aren't doing anything which is automated from what a human player does. The use of scripts and automation was banned, but multiboxing itself was not. If you want me to source this, I can see about hunting it out from their forum, but I'm quite sure I'm recalling this correctly.
I'm glad you asked.
On same screen coop in this game, if one player wanders too far away from the others, the stationary players are automatically teleported to the moving player. When I realized that, I wondered how it would work to build up side characters with maximized defense whose sole purpose would be to not die and fill empty slots in the group, so that all players could maximize all statistical and loot gain. As it turns out, it works out rather well.
I have four PS4 controllers hooked up when I play this game. I have four separate accounts, and they each have at least 180 paragon levels now. Nobody uses any kind of hacked or duplicated gear whatsoever. There is nothing extra being done with the controllers as they sit unused. There is no automation or botting of any kind. They are not bots. Everything is found and done through normal play.
Why do I do this? It makes the game more interesting to me. It turns it into something of a giant escort mission, and does help prolong the goals in playing the game and the process of accumulation. I have a "good" character of every class now, and I've done that without going through the agonizing arduous process of raising them from 1 to 70 by playing them directly. It also gives me motivation to hunt for different types of gear to use that nobody would think about using otherwise (having a Crusader using a Grandfather with 11% Life and +1000 Vit as his weapon is one such example). It also enables me to help with other players in a group, too. If I see you alone as a Barbarian, I can send in three other Barbarians and thus maximize the chance that at least one out of the four of us will get a useful drop of some kind with every rift or bounty run.
It's something that I did on PS3 vanilla (and posted about it in that OT thread here as well), it's something that I do here, and it's something that I'll always do in this game as long as I can. It is a means of maximizing the potential gain I have for the time I play the game.

I levelled all five other characters using the cheesy Misers Will method. Depending on luck it was pretty quick, but also very dull. Easiest and by far quickest is to roll with someone playing T6 at level 70 if you can. What's the fastest way to level from 1-70? I'm lvl 68 on my first character and am dreading doing it 5 more times. Though I guess it'll come naturally since I have to do 500 bounties, anyway (currently at 50-ish).

I tried using some skills to support you guys (shield glare + increase damage to blind enemies by 20%; the Law skill that increases crit damage) but I'm not certain how helpful they were. Lemme know if there are different skills you think would be helpful for me to use if we're in a similar situation where I'm finding myself good for nothing but support. One of these days...I'll join your wrecking crew and stomp all over the mobs. In the meantime, I'm appreciating all the help you two have provided

Instead of using shield glare, try out judgement + resolved (I find the increased chance to crit to be more crucial).
I use fist of the heavens + fissure as my 2nd secondary skill (dont use primary skills at all anymore), if you could use the same secondary skill set, we could chain em together and unleash a fury of lightning chains. (That is if two saders lightning fissure can indeed chain).
As for the thorns, I'm not sure how useful it is frankly (I dont use it at all), though if you ever want to experiment with it, I think i've got a shield which doubles thorn damage upon using provoke.
As a D3 newbie can anyone explain what hacked items are and how I can avoid them? Rather play legit and almost done with the regular game so gonna start rifts/adventure mode/bounties/etc. probably soon.
Easiest way to avoid it is to not play open to public. I think I switched my settings to public last week when nobody from gaf was on and I did a few rifts with that group - nothing hacked as far as I could tell. But yesterday I was playing with a few gaffers and a random joined us who definitely hacked their stuff.
Give aways are affixes on items that shouldn't exist. i.e. 3 sockets on a weapon. If you see a player with DPS that's in the hundreds of millions...well...they're probably using hacked stuff.
Finally got the platinum. It would have happened sooner but, I took a break to play some Destiny.
The 500 bounties was kind of a pain for me since I prefer to only use bounties as a way to acquire rift tokens. Now I have a ton of tokens though, so I'm good for the foreseeable future. Time to get more rifting done.
I don't see any problem with multiboxing. I refuse to play with the people using the hacked items though.

what is the most Baddass weapon for a level 65 WD ??
So... i start to get really frustated. Still no Gyrfalcon's Foote. I am Paragon 200+ and spend nearly every bloodshard on one handed weapons. No luck. Anybody up for a trade? I m on PS4 btw.
That's unlucky, I have 3 spare ones, they just keep on dropping.

Well there is no use for them there, send me one brother!

Ps4: ruthlesbarbarian
Just cleared the first four (?) chapters on hard but I'm only level 48 and the game is ridiculously easy. Maybe I should crank it up a notch?
Oh, and any gaffer can add me if they want (PS4): dannepannepuff
