Yeah, that's about the tone of all the stuff they have on the Disney Channel. Stay at one of their resorts and that's is what all the "Hey, this is Disney!" type videos feel like.

I suspect the first 4 months will just be vloggers staying there just to talk about it.

I hope it works, even if I will likely never stay there. They could have just made a star wars themed mid-level resort like Caribbean Beach with some design cues, rebellion uniforms for the staff, and a giant ass pool with an AT-AT slide and ewok cocktails but they went all in it looks like.

Sure, but there's probably going to be some regular fans too. A lot of people are terrible with money.

Like around here on every Football (soccer) world cup you hear about regular lower middle class people going $10k+ in debt to go follow our national team. Wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty of Star Wars megafans willing to do the same for what is being sold to them as a "once in a lifetime star wars experience".

If this was Nintendo themed there would be tons of people on this forum alone that would pay even double price to go, so this isn't surprising.

I'm glad I've basically removed my caring of Star Wars completely from my system. The 90s and early 2000s were an incredible time thanks to the movie rereleases, video games, and expanded universe books, but I have long come to terms that it is over and won't ever be back. I can always replay/reread/rewatch that stuff, but I'm content to simply not care about anything new.

Holy shit that video was terrible. Worst of all, it showed almost nothing outside of concept art and a manchild having an excitement seizure over a generic control panel.
Plus, it wastes most of its time on some bullshit singer and looks more like Star Trek than Star Wars.

Disney is trying to scrub this from the internet after originally posting it and then being blasted over how terrible it is.

It’ll cost 2 people nearly $5000 for the “two night experience”. A family will need to sell one of their kids to afford the rest of the group to do it.

If they manage to include the singer being thrown into a pit to be eaten by a Rancor, I'm sold!
