One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Lesh and Lina's stuns both require aiming and foresight. You need to understand what type of player your opponents are, if they're the type to run in lines or the type who will try to fake you out. And you can use that to your advantage. For those in the first category, all you need to do is stun where they'll walk into. For the second category, you can start a stun, stop it, and move forward. The time they spent trying to dodge it means they won't be running away as fast, and for ganks this is invaluable. You can fake a stun to the right to make them go left, or fake a stun to the left to make them go right.

If you're in the woods, you can hide in trees and stun while you're hidden in fog. Again, this will come down to how well you understand your opponent and how well they understand you, whether they'll walk into it or wait. It's no different from Pudge's hook, AoE globals, etc. It's all a matter of mind games.

I cannot for the life of me find Gambler's other skills. I was gonna tell my League player friends about how much of a terror Guinsoo actually is.

It's rumored that Guinsoo was fired from Riot some time back.

He's been away on twitter for a long while and kinda just disappeared from the internet in general. I didn't really dig into it that much but can anyone confirm this? It just seems weird that the only real original dev from Riot would just be fired after all is said and done.

I don't think I've had one game where I haven't seen a Drow Ranger, a Spirit Breaker, a Riki or a Sniper pick.

It's been annoying.

The worst is when two or three of any of those four happen to all be on my team. FML

Also it's pretty good to throw out a stun when someone just started their last hitting animation. It's especially good early game when they have low attack speed and no boots.

You must only play all pick.

Play captain's mode or anything that isn't all pick.

Anyone know when the next hero or a patch to add centaur and elder titan etc to captain's mode?

I really want to see some new meta or new combinations with some new heroes in the pool, bored of the current playstyle in competitive matches.

Thanks.

I reckon he's just been told to keep quiet. I've seen some of his wackier champ/item design (like the BFF Sword) and I don't blame them.

Yeah, because I like to practice with Windrunner. I guess I'll have to try a few games of single draft and see how it goes.

Try to practice heroes with bots. That's what I tend to do. I feel like I've gotten better by playing SD and RD. It makes you get out of your comfort zone on heroes. Just play with an item/skill guide while you play hero's you aren't familiar with.

I've heard this a couple times over the last few months. Crazy how nobody seems to know definitively. Dota developers are weird.

Like how Eul was at Valve for a long time and no one seemed to catch that.

Whatever happened to Neichus?

Getting out of my comfort zone sounds exactly like what I need to do. I'll give it a shot!

Thanks :)

Damn just had my best technically and mechanically Rubick game, fucking love stealing Rupture and use it on the Bloodseeker, hell i love to kill anyone with their own spell, i charged a Spirit Breaker and got the kill, it was hilarious

The game before i randomed Shadow Shaman and i was really low health running back, i saw the Spirit Breaker coming from a ward i had placed down at the bottom rune so i waited for him at the bottom T1, hexed his charge, dropped my wards and shackled his ass it was glorious

Really hate when i'm the only support and i'm forced to buy mek and wards and dust and everything, don't get my arcane boots until 20-30 mins into the game

I don't know, if I was fired I'd be pretty salty and not leave a link to LoL.com on my twitter. I have a feeling someone high up just told him to shut up and stop posting on social media--I think he's said a lot of dumb shit that's gotten him in trouble (though not as bad as Maliken LOL).

Though I guess this says otherwise. Seems like he was fired or is simply working on a new Riot project. Maybe got a nice severance/NDA to keep him from badmouthing riot or joining competition. There were also rumors floating around that riot wasn't happy with his latest hero remakes and some employee also stole his gf or something. Dat riot drama, needs a reality tv show featuring s2 maliken, johnnyutah, and diva too. Gaben can be a guest star at the riot offices.

Interesting. Wouldn't be surprised if they started working on a new project, they have ~1000 employees according to their wiki, they can't possibly just be working on LoL.

Oh man, http://dotabuff.com/matches/285965221

second time as KOTL. He's such a troll. In like 10 minutes or less I was 4/0/0 because the Skywrath mage kept running into my horses. One time I missed with them and he said "not today." So I ullt'd and placed a horse down and fell back, he comes walking up like billy-badass only to be blown away. All I type back is

"Today."

Just played a really weird game where I went long lane with Tiny as Windrunner and went up against a Meepo Leshrac lane, our Tiny was so afraid to go anywhere near the lane thought we could be in trouble that game

Fast forward 28 minutes, Meepo goes 0-12 and I finish 9-1-14 with 515 GPM, well that went better than expected!

Dragon HUD is pretty gaudy. Someone had it last night and I turned it on for a bit to see what it looked like in practice.

Favorite one right now that I've used is probably Deepest Depths. Might buy it myself at some point.

Good lord a Puck who knows what they're doing might be the most annoying hero to fight against in the game. Up there with Timbersaw. At least with something like Lancer you have time, Puck is terrifying from level 6

I really need to learn how to play Puck well. Watching some of the best puck plays on YouTube makes me wanna get a piece of the cake.

Mind you, I will say it was also our fault for seeing Puck and not banning out Lifestealer...that one-two combo basically ended three fights before they began.

Check out S4's Puck to see one of the best Puck players in the game. He's terrifying.

Reasons why Puck is one of my favorite heroes. I still can't wrap my head around how Milkman doesn't like to play Puck.

So yeah, If you're ever building a Bloodstone on Timbersaw (or anyone really), I suggest you finish the Soulbooster or Perseverance first, lest you accidentally build a Vanguard and have no way of disassembling it ._.

Also Puck/Storm/Timber/Clock/Invoker are the best heroes. Best mobility, best kits, best fun. I'm terrible at most of them but they are the most satisfying to play for me.
