That is true, although I wouldn't mind seeing less jungling cm who try to rush midas.
Part of what made the jungle better this patch i'd argue was that mud golems aren't magic immune anymore and that they also spawn the mini-golems giving more gold and xp overall.
Those changes were buffs to the current junglers (also including cm), and I'd argue it benefited mid more than them.
yup.
Think the best way to nerf jungle abuse is to nerf the specific heroes. No need for changes to the jungle itself. Though perhaps some jungle geography changes would be appropriate. make stacking/farming from mid less trivial.
but most heroes picked mid are also picked with the idea that they can clear those stacks. Nerfing heroes that can clear stacks would imo make it so that other mids who can clear the stacks would be picked to do the job in their place.
Current mids are popular because they can negate bad laning phase by clearing stacks in the jungle. The fact the clearing those stacks is so easy is an incentive to picking mids who can clear them. Getting rid of those mids won't make people forget that possibility exists. They nerfed clearing ancients which was a direct nerf to tidehunter because he could easily farm up those ancients with a poor laning phase. That didn't seem to bother icefrog that it also affected other heroes that clear ancient stacks such as gyro, medusa, bristleback, etc.
