Also necro lategame is shitsucks. 100% Shitsucks. Wow you kill a person who's below 50% hp and probably already stunlocked and who will die anyway, meanwhile your 3 hp heal/hour won't do shit against their 3000 dps and your aura of i am not feeling so well do shit when you get instagibbed in 3 shots. This hero is a pure snowballer mid that however sucks dicks lategame no matter how you itemize it, and obviously your team WILL CATEGORICALLY REFUSE TO END THE GAME EVEN IF YOU GO BEYOND GODLIKE IN 15 MIN AND YOU GOT A PUSH TEAM. That last game was so horrendous, and common factor in all those games were furions that didn't understand shit about the game and teamgfighted when they should've pushed, pushed when we weren't teamfighting so they could feed some gold to the enemy and were obviously fucking afk first 10 mins of the game so you have to win the lane 4vs5, and even if you go beyond godlike 4vs5 in 15 mins they still refuse to push and you lose against a real lategame team. It was amazing to see how we teamfighted mid 4vs5, we all died with our creeps about to get megas top (they had only a melee standing), and furion instead of tping top while we fight mid he actually tped in the fight and got instagibbed, cue PA rapier comeback time and obviously "EZ GAME WOW I'M SO GOOD" in all chat , no you aren't good you shithead, we just got a furion picker aka a rare case of a quadrisomial disease.

now that my crunch is over I can play Dota today before I leave for NYC tomorrow. Techies is still on my all hero challenge... maybe ill try to get past him. My first 6 heroes I did all in one attempt each, then this fucker shows up. :(

Guys I tried to solo mid as omni yesterday and my team didn't believe in me and basically attributed all their mistakes to me going mid. even though I won two lanes they gave up because they couldn't handle someone not playing the role they thought they were gonna

how do I inspire idiots into believing in me

chen's pretty easy to play, just watch some replays of Puppey, Akke and hmm Chuan.

has some good tips. You also have to figure out what style you are going to play, Puppey and Chuan play Chen as a early ganker/first blood support. Akke is a farmer and he is very good at farming.

Chen's Roles

-Ganker from minute 1 to 8 your creeps have an major damage and HP advantage. Troll summoner is one of the strongest creeps to grab if you want to smoke gank.

-Famer Wildkin's tornado spell can kill triple stacks of creeps, if you going the farming route learning pull timings to maximize your farming. You can farm four camps every two minutes if you have two Wildkins.

-Mid Game Pusher i don't think this tatic is valid anymore but it was a popular style to play him as your ulti heals your creeps to full health taking advantage of that ability to take down the towers while your team are pushing some where else.

-Chen late game Ancients new in this patch, typically he falls off super hard late game as none of his skills scales to late game his mobility sucks and the creeps don't scale to late game when Heroes have 2k to 3k HP. But he can spam his heal every 30 seconds plus mek if you went that route. Just like Nature's prophet you can use your creeps to scout and aggressively ward.

Chen's Pros Warcraft 3 style hero

Chen's Cons Stealth heroes Riki, Bounty Hunter, Brooklyn Curtz will fuck you up in the jungle.

Difficulty Easier then Meepo harder then Enchantress

Getting difficult heroes is part of the fun, imo. I never played invoker before the challenge, and it got me to practice him in bot games until I was somewhat confident with him. I got the win in two matches and both were a lot of fun. Same for enchantress. During my many attemps at winning with timbersaw, I got my first rampage!

I probably misread/misunderstood (don't have dotabuff +), but I'm pretty sure 31st percentile means you're in the top 31%, not bottom. Right?

When talking of percentiles, typically higher is better. So 99th percentile would make you better than 99% of players.

being better than 30 something percent than the player base for only playing a year or something isnt that bad in my opinion keep in mind how many people there are, and how long tons have been playing
