I think it's bugged. Sometimes my hero just stop autos and it messes my cs because i rely a lot on autos to cs. It's terrible.

Is there any consensus on the best way to itemize PL?
If all goes well, by min 20-25 I have Treads - RoA - Diffusal - Manta/Skadi + Yasha, sometimes I put a Bottle in there somewhere, but he just feels so weak and squishy...
Should I avoid fighting and just split-push or shall I replace te Skadi with HoT?

Consider fast vlads.
Treads --> Aquila --> Vlads --> Diffusal --> Manta --> Diffusal 2 --> Heart --> Travels --> damage item/butter --> butter/damage item
Slide a BKB in there if the situation demands it.
I thought about vlads but I decided against it because you don't really get a huge benefit from it since your illusions die/time-out so fast, but I'll try it out (upgrade basi to it instead of going full RoA) next time I've the chance to play him.
I've been getting skadi instead of going for diffusal 2 because the slow means you don't really have to spend a lot of changes to lockdown your targets, hence saving the need to buy an extra 8, plus the tanking you get from it is nice. Perhaps Skadi + Vlads might work well.

I like satanic lategame instead of heart on pl now. My reasoning behind it is that you don't need your illusions to be tanky but rather you want yourself to be always near 100% with how often you spawn illusions during fights.

On an absolutely horrendous run at the moment, 1 win in 14 games. Feel like I've been shoved up about 1000mmr, and my teammates have become worse if anything.
Had a Silencer throw a game yesterday because he thought Lion was stealing his kills. We were probably going to win as well before he threw his toys out the pram.
Keep having games as well where my teammates either don't connect until the match is 5 or so minutes in, or they don't call a lane until the match has begun, so the lane setup is a mess and everyone runs around like a headless chicken.
And lone heroes going for runes without an escort, so they get caught 3-on-1 and die in the first minute. I don't understand
Then I get frustrated, and it leads to me doing something silly and dying unnecessarily

I'm with you I took a 3 month break and I come back and I cant do shit in this current meta.
I've got like 2 wins in my last 12 games.
Whats up with Axe in every damn game now.

The others 2 are a joke, just like he is.
Axe give you a lot of flexibility in picks. I'd always fp him, not sniper or Tide or whoever. If radiant go triple ranged shit or whatever, you get a proper offlane and put axe into jungle and make him roam early (don't wait for blink, 1 level hunger at lvl 2 is huge for helping ganks and lanes, and level 2 hunger is a sure kill) . Those 2 ranged supports will be food for axe later on.

I think Huskar is near unstoppable if picked against the right composition (non physical damage dealers). Unfortunately pubs are currently infested with Trolls, Juggs and Snipers pickers
That's the thing, He isn't. Any carry will outcarry an Alchemist late game, without fail. His niche is to get there faster than the others.
His current problem is that he needs too many items and then doesn't do enough with them.
He needs HP, Armour, Attack Speed AND damage. Considering boots, you have 5 effective slots, and most alchemist will want any variation of Heart, Mjolnir, AC, Abyssal and BKB. That leaves you with one slot. Hero has Evasion? either sacrifice BKB slot or you're out of luck. Want a UAM? Same thing.
I think he is like the only Carry without a proper steroid, even something like ember gains some damage on Sleigh and has proper manouverability on item slots.
Alch is a waste of a hero atm.

Assassinate now uses a charge based system, mana cost lowered to 50/75/100 per shot.

Need lore reasons why a damn gnome on top of a ogre would destroy building with one click and some gold. Dota doesnt do anything without respecting the lore.

I think I'm cursed. I have played 4 placement matches. 3 of them were vs techies. I want to inflict harm upon myself.
