Yeah, about Euls, I thought people only got it for the Euls Sunstrike Meteor Deafening Blast thing. Is that not the case anymore or is it just good in general? I will give those a try though.

Well it depends on the Invoker build your going. Quas Wex or Exort. If you're going up against mana intensive heroes go Quas Wex. If you need more of a carry right click on your team go Exort. And yeah you generally want a Midas because getting quick exp on Invoker is huge, he needs his levels or he falls off.

Yeah...you know, I understand that 90% of people here hate me for whatever their own personal reason may be, but this shit is really getting on my nerves. People just go in there and say "Go this build it's good" only for some others to turn around and say "lol ur terrible this build is shit". It's like the OoV Puck thing, you know how that got started? Fucking Milkman. He suggested it on stream one time and I was like "Lol no" then he gave a logical reason for it "You hit then Phase Shift, like orb walking, if you get a kill you make it back." So I tried it and it worked that game and I kept using it for a while before dropping it. Rather than give legitimate advice, you people would rather just give bad, but convincing advice just to fuck with me because you hate me for whatever reason.

Sorry I rage about teammates sometimes, I am actually trying to improve on that, and you'll probably notice I have actually cut down quite a bit on that lately, but it's never good enough, you're always like "HylianSeven is a bad player, should just quit IHL2 and leave." Sorry I'm not 30k MMR. Jesus fucking christ.

Invoker's unique level progression makes Midas worth it. On other heroes, their spells get as good as they're ever going to get at level 16 (or 17 if you're a wretched Meepo picker). Invoker doesn't stop getting better until he hits level 25. This gives him an XP dependence that no other hero has.

That's why he goes mid; to get that solo XP.

This isn't to say that Invoker must build Midas; as always, it depends on timing and how the game is going. It also depends on the kind of Invoker you're wanting to play; I'm not an Invoker player myself, but IIRC, the QW Invoker, who's aiming more for teamfight control and AOE damage (tornado-EMP) is a little less XP hungry than the QE Invoker (who wants to do do Euls-Meatball-Sunstrke-Deafening Blast combos, or other acts of wizardry).

Dude maybe you should just take a break from this thread? I agree you shouldn't have to but at some point you gotta just get away from that which is bothering you.

Yeah, that's what I figured, and even despite dying once, in that first game I had ~7 minutes. I just shouldn't have listened to the people saying it was bad.

Octarine Core and Lotus Orb are going to be way to good for their cost

Octarine giving 25% less CD on spells AND spellvamp seems like an insane amount of positive buffs. Its an item that is good on every hero. Even hardcore melee carries like PA can benefit from it

I might be kneejerking to its power but spell CD reduction and spell vamp on one item seems like bad balance

Should have been two items instead. Satanic costs 200 more and it only gives stats and armor

Yeah, and they're basically trying to oust me from the community from whatever reason. That's exactly what they want. I love Dota, I love the community, there's just a lot of people here that hate me and want me to just leave, both thread and IHL2.

I admit sometimes I get a little angry and ignore good advice. I apologize for that. And I feel like OoV was Milk, unless you gave him the idea and he was the one to actually say it in chat that time.

I'm trying to take advice more actually.

Where you're going wrong here is in thinking you gain from being subjected to other people dicking with you. No one who has a positive opinion of you is going to change their opinion if you say "fuck it, I don't want to deal with this, I'm out" and bail from this thread.

Honestly, unless you're a masochist I just don't get it.

I'm really stoked for the new patch and compendium, the changes look pretty radical. I just hope they actually put in community items in addition to the compendium. Waiting on so many good new bloom sets T___T
