complexity has a team?
They had moonmender and waga at one point. No idea who the rest are now and i highly doubt they will get an invite.

What exactly is the problem with the pet?
It distracts me from playing perfectly and it looks like a courier. What exactly is the problem with the pet?

There will never be a no cosmetics option, ever, in Dota 2.
While I can agree that in normal pubs it wont be implemented (the entire games income is based on hats), in major tournament games (TI/Dreamleague/The Summit/Starladder) items should be turned off
It makes the scene more uniform and professional
I know it will never happen cause hats are serious business to Valve, but it would be nice
I have a better chance marrying Shakira than ehug and complexity do at getting direct invites.
This is mine, but like I said - a bit Europe centric. I also don't think NiP will really make it, but I like the name

Also more proof PL is just Son Wukong, here's some new concept art

That's the only reason they have a chance for a direct invite, but that's still one more reason than ehug and complexity.Navi as well
Maybe being TI1 winners they will get a direct invite but they still suck dick compared to TI3 Navi
Also how can they make this awesome concept art and then end up with a big green watermelon with solid colored tentacle things rising up?
This Tide art is amazing. Those ravages look great and I love Tide with that scaley cape and the seaweed crusted anchor.
inb4 workshop contributors start making pets to prop up mediocre sets
Still saved 3 bucks!Aww, shit - in that case I fucked up -_-
It strikes me as a little strange that Valve upped the ante so much on the stretch goals (monetarily) and yet their base prize pool didn't increase at all.

I have a hard time seeing this hitting 15 million.
how much you wanna betI have a hard time seeing this hitting 15 million. The battle booster was huge last year, there's nothing to really replace that, coins don't seem particularly interesting, especially for people who spend more money on Dota, but don't have a lot of time to do challenges (like me).

TI isn't until August. I think the prize pool will hit 20 mil.
i mean, i found out the compendium was released in the metro on my way to work
Although I can't look at it at work because they block most gaming related sites.
Hey, me too.

Do you get anything from the more expensive compendium that you wouldn't otherwise by leveling up?
At least you still have to win the game so it's not as bad as it could've been, most of the objectives are positive.Compendium challenges encourage people to do dumb shit (more so than usual).
Deny 2 towers = don't bother defending, just let creeps take the tower so you can deny.
