I have 5000 hours and 3k+ games and have been in LPQ ONCE, and it was because my GF was in a car accident and I had to abandon to get to the hospital

I'm pretty sure that if you're having a bad time in low prio it's done it's job, which is make you behave so you don't get sent there again. Also getting there undeservedly is about as common as someone getting jailed on false charges, pretty rare.

I have been in it once that I remember (a loooong time ago) and it announced at the start of the match that it was LPQ as well as telling me before I queued. I have never seen LPQ since.

Dunno if it's just unannounced now or what.

Ok.

Multiple people ganging up on you to report you in the same game has no effect on whether or not you are banned. We are looking at patterns of behavior over time only.

i've played in teams where someone was LPQ (so you all have to play LPQ) and like honestly i didn't notice a difference from 2k mmr bracket

It's fun to look through items in the half life model viewer and come to realize there are some fun designs that Valve have left sitting there for quite some time.
