Have this strange feeling about this game, that the critical reception will be vastly different to the actual reception.

It looks very average but I think it will review much better than that because of the good will from no denuvo on pc, steam deck support etc which should be praised but the game itself will be very boring.

Yeah, that sort of gameplay shouldn’t be expected.
This depends on which DA games you’re a fan of 🤷‍♂️
Review does mention best combat in studio history. Thus my post.
This depends on which Bioware franchises you’re a fan of (since they said studio history and not DA history)

I have played the series of Kotor, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and more recently Dragon Age. I can say with 100% certainty that I thought Mass Effect as a series was 2x more fun to play than any of the rest.

I expect around 80-84. Western leftist reviewers will want this to succeed and overrate it.
But, I kinda hope it is good because FPP/TPP RPGs are my favourite genre.

Dude learn to edit your posts. You cook so many word salads you could give Kamala run for her money. You made me alergic to Venom Snake.
Like Starfield and others, if you inflate or deflate review scores for reasons other than the flaws or merits of the game itself which is juxtaposed the wider user opinion, then all you do is make the reviewing industry less credible and less relevant. If kept happening then a lot of reviewers would lose their jobs.

Going with a 85-86. Hoping it's better than that but I'm not optimistic atm. The cinematics look pretty cool imo but some of the actual gameplay clips make it look like it was rushed. I'm still on Metaphor though and DQ3 is in 2 weeks so I'm not exactly starving for RPGs.

That is one of the games where u gotta take away 20% of the review score coz woke professional journos(who get copy for preview/review for free and usually stuff on top of that too) gonna hike up the scores solely coz of agenda, true score will be for example steam user review score after first few weeks, where ppl who pay their hard earned money and dont get anything under the table can judge the game instead.

Just to give u guys few examples of how biased are journos nowadays, lets check scores of mid/avg (actually bad but lets be lenient here).
https://www.metacritic.com/game/concord/ 62 meta from reviewers where game was so bad it barely sold 25k copies worldwide and got pulled out of the net(and refunded to all buyers) in under 2 weeks.
If even concord can get 62 u know its at least 30 if not 40 points for the game coz of agenda alone.

Same here with https://www.metacritic.com/game/star-wars-outlaws/ fricken 75 meta all coz of big publisher/woke SW agenda when game didnt even break even in sales, maybe it was worth 40-50metascore if we push it, with dev studio itself admitting themselfs to try to fix bugs/beginning of the game in series of patches https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/star-wars-outlaws-game-update/

Another example of terrible game no1 probably remembers by now https://www.metacritic.com/game/destruction-allstars/ and it still got 62 meta

Ofc there are many more such examples but my fellow gaf-bros, let that sink in, how ingenuine and corrupt are professional journos, its literally in their best interest games they are reviewing sell well.
When it comes to big publisher/modern AAA game even worst of the worst abnominations getting 60+ meta especially if game is pandering to clown world https://www.metacritic.com/game/saints-row/

The typical outlets who received a review copy will give it 80-85%, youtube reviewers and user reviews will be quite a bit lower.

Fuck no, jst watched that clip.
I am a 36 year old man, I don't need to be taught how to not be a cunt by a purple video game.

Basic morals and respect for fellow humans does not need to be taught through video games. Fucking pathetic.

A look at the real world tells a different story... But besides that: I dont take this video as a game telling me how to act. Its just a slightly cringy dialogue. No need to be offended by it. And I´m also 36 if that helps :D

Fucking Americans here with the usual DEI & WOKE terms that I always fail to understand.

What is DEI about this game? The colorful dragon?
U saw miss alabama 2024, bro? Cant u tell something is wrong when human being looking like this wins miss title?

They call her "plus size" but from my pov, as eastern european, she has more pluses than intel 14nm manufacturing process :messenger_ok:

What happens when actual actors and writers are replaced by activists and fanfic wankers.
God Of War Ragnarok suffered a great deal.

I'm playing the game at present and it has some CW level writing/VA.

It's extremely bizarre. The older God Of War games had such an excellent cast of actors and the writing was superb. Even God of War 2018 felt like a believable world.

The game takes itself seriously yet has such awful VA/writing.

What is this? 🤣 My Lord, that would be considered obese in Europe—or even extremely obese!

But what does this have to do with the game? I saw some posts below, and it seems crazy! 🤣

Not really sure what to make of that. Noisy Pixel does tend to score their reviews on the high side looking at their averages.

Nothing concrete, but I can see Dragon Age ending up with something between 80-85% on the MC/OC aggregates when the reviews hit later.

80-90% by gaming outlets/journo's, because AAA+ with DEI agenda and industry giant marketing budget
~60% actual player and content creator reception, purely based on overall quality, not even considering DEI agenda

I predicting low 80's review score for a game that should get low 70's, but it propt up by critical reviews because it ticks the right boxes.

Fucking lol…

That's ..... that's shockingly bad.

I'd gladly pay full price for the game they could have made (I love the good parts of GoT and HotD, where the world and its rules are taken seriously), but they clearly aren't interested in making that game anymore. I should go back and replay DA1.

Edit: I should re-read Song of Ice and Fire, too.

Trying to normalize bad health and dietary habits is a terrible thing to do to a society and it's individuals.
Obesity is a serious disease that kills thousands of people every year, and restricts the lives of many more.
No society should do this to it self.
