Seems kinda low but what do I know
Released less than 3 hours ago on a weekday. Games usually peak on the first Saturday/Sunday. Seems like a success. It will keep climbing up and might breach 100K over the weekend seeing that most people in NA are still at school or work as of this post.Seems like a success?
space marine 2 had easily over 100k in the same timeframe.50k seems pretty good, no?
That's definitely a success. If it holds around ~10K+ after a few weeks, should be in track with other games that are in Top100 games played on Steam.
Seems like a success?
Well, sadly it looks like the game is selling well. I knew the IP would carry some sales but it seems like it's gonna be a success.
I don't think it's gonna have legs but it's gonna be one of those "see woke is not broke" talking points anytime a newer game comes out with bad optics.
Tech issues? But Alex from DF said this is a godlike PC versionJust an FYI - the negative reviews are down to technical issues.
If it peaks lower than that Atlus RPG that just came out, that would be a disasterjudging by that trajectory I’m guessing it’ll peak around 70-75K on launch day maybe?
Is that good? That seems pretty low for a big name RPG.
i mean it's being what 2-3 hours? What else could they be about.Just an FYI - the negative reviews are down to technical issues.
Would Space Marine 2 be considered a smash hit?space marine 2 had easily over 100k in the same timeframe.
Also not sure what is the point of showing the peaks of older games when they came later on steam they were Origin exclusive on PC.
Again, anyone who expected Concord level performance was kidding themselves. The game's going to do fine out of the gate. Long term performance is a bigger question once early impressions are out in the open, but the debut isn't particularly surprising.
For the people asking if it is good, Baldur's Gate 3 has 56,651 right now, more than a year after release. All you need to know.
Its a smash hit cause budget is smaller.Would Space Marine 2 be considered a smash hit?
Nothing sad about it. If you don't like the game - great, that's fine. Leave it for people who like it to enjoy. Games selling well - even ones you don't like - are good for everyone in the industry.Well, sadly it looks like the game is selling well. Nobody expected concord levels of CCU.Again, anyone who expected Concord level performance was kidding themselves. The game's going to do fine out of the gate. Long term performance is a bigger question once early impressions are out in the open, but the debut isn't particularly surprising.
This is just Spider-man on pc just as a comparison over it's lifetime.not yet, still early
Way too early to deem it a success or failure.Seems like a success?
I dunno, to me watching shit trash do well just enables for more shit trash. The industry doesn't care about feelings, they care about money and this sends the message that we consume, just put anything on our plate with an IP and we'll gobble it up without thinking.Nothing sad about it. If you don't like the game - great, that's fine. Leave it for people who like it to enjoy. Games selling well - even ones you don't like - are good for everyone in the industry.
Imagine if instead of cheering for things to fail, we ignore the ones we don't like and cheer on the ones we like?
