I accidently was thrown in jail, and I was looking for my stuff. Turns out that you automatically get your stuff when you get outside
Here's the video:
The sheer contrast with the first game:
Anyone who says this game barely improves over the first is out of their minds
And the first time was even crazier believe or not lol. I kept the fight in that second area because I didn't want to spoil what the rest of the area is like, but it was absolutely batshit crazy fighting the griffin there. I'm struggling to think of any other game where the emergent gameplay is as on point as this game. That was epic, man! Yeah, I haven't seen the guy who said the graphics are barely different. It's night and day. This battle too, is way better on DD2. Everything about the game is.
small scope? guess you mean the enemy variety? yeah that kinda sucks, guess we'll have to wait until DD3 for that (unless they make a DLC)
fighters can block in the air.Though I did learn the hard way that while you are airborne you are vulnerable.
That will come later I expectDo we know yet if there's something remotely close to Bitterblack isle from DD1?
Wtf, they ask 1500 to meSome of the animations here are super cool. I was semi parkouring up some rocks and occasionally I’d do an auto front flip to get to the higher ledge.
Got gangbanged hard by some goblins earlier. Need to get myself a mage. Found a camping kit and felt like such a baller.
The game also does a great job at mimicking today’s economy. $1000 for one night at an inn go fuck yourself
different places ask different prices.Wtf, they ask 1500 to me
Depends on the inn I think. Could swear I've payed up to 2000 for a single night.Wtf, they ask 1500 to me
it becomes more fun after you get to the capital and they unlock the fighter skills. you are still in the tutorial area. the L1 skills you get for each face button are cool and then if you picked a mage as your pawn, you can upgrade her as well, and she will augment your blades with fire then start raining down hellfire on everyone.Well the mission for tonight is to escort this gregor dude to the capital, i'm sure everything is gonna go as planned
Man i want to unlock the berserk class asap, the shield class is kinda boring.

do the vocation quest to unlock the warrior class and it will unlock even more skills that dont rely upon L1 buttons. the game is full of different things you can do with your character.
Goes even higher than that.Depends on the inn I think. Could swear I've payed up to 2000 for a single night.
The quest to unlock warrior/sorcerer is literally one of the first ones you can do as soon as you reach vernworth.Well the mission for tonight is to escort this gregor dude to the capital, i'm sure everything is gonna go as planned

I think i'm gonna go berserker and then spear warhead for this run.Goes even higher than that.

My pawn just came back with a cool new helmet! That I also just bought her myself a minute ago...tfw my pawn comes back with good ratings and cool gifts.
Don't worry, I'm about to take Snitch for a stroll so he won't be bored.Had to force myself to stop playing for a while so I can get some other stuff done. The mark of a great game.
As soon as I change the vocation of my arisen I’ll take your pawn out to slay some monsters. I’m still using the Fighter one.Don't worry, I'm about to take Snitch for a stroll so he won't be bored.
The game is incredible.
I wonder why it took them 12 years to release a sequel
Not really your fault. They threw in a kind of maybe slightly tutorial in an inn somewhere.14 hours in and I'm just now adding weapon skills.
Holy hell. I'm glad the first game prepared me for some of the more obtuse aspects of DD.14 hours in and I'm just now adding weapon skills.

Stuff like this is surprisingly easy to miss.
It's actually some bullshit. Pretty much proof that they didn't spend enough time on this game, or it wasn't tested.Holy hell. I'm glad the first game prepared me for some of the more obtuse aspects of DD.

stop dying. Also - the amc health is down even after loading. Seems kinda annoying
That reminds me of BG3 a lot in that respect, I was new to D&D rules, needed several guides and a lot of reading but by the mid point of the game I was all powerful, I suppose a similar thing is gonna happen here, only an hour in so far and its enjoyableI’m only level 15 but the game is getting better the more I play. Like the first game it’s lots of little things that add up to make an incredible experience.
One of things I love is how weak you feel in the beginning. That’s how RPGs need to be because the power growth is so much more satisfying.
I was dying to waterfall cave bossAlright which one of y'all keeps being thrown in gaol for misdeeds?
stop dying.
Well, stop it.I was dying to waterfall cave boss
