Someone needs to mod the Berserk armor back in ASAP.
Here is hoping they left the files behind.

Your pawns will stay with you always unless you dismiss them in the Rift.
There's a passive skill you can learn later on that gives you increased stats if you choose to go at it alone.
I picked the assassin type character because I thought I wanted to be a magic archer, but after climbing up a Hydra's neck to chop it's head off, I'm thinking I might wanna just crawl on dudes forever.
What vocation should I aim for to be a "mount beasts and slay them" type?
I reached out on that issue and it would take a sizable amount of work to get working on DX9 games it currently doesn't. With PC gaming already moving on to DX12, doesn't seem worth the effort. Especially when there are already options for texture mods on MY Framework games, tho less elegant.
Update GeDoSaTo. There was a bug that made key presses not get read, but Durante fixed it.
Any random suggestions for what vocation I should roll first? When I played it on console I went full Ranger/Strider, but I want to try something different now.
Anyone found a good sweetfx?
This is the one I found that looks the "best" to me

Basically takes off the filter and makes the colors more natural/vibrant.

Where do i need to put this? just drop in DDDA common directory?
Installation
1.Drop all the zip contents into your game folder.
2. That's it.
I always go Fighter until 10 for the HP boost then you can go whatever you want from there. In my 100% run I leveled Mage/Sorcerer for around 60 or so levels then changed to Magick Archer.
Replace Magick Archer with Mystic Knight if you want.

Is it possible to start with hard mode?
Yo guys how demanding is this thing? If my (pretty old) machine can run, let's say, Dark Souls 2 perfectly fine, will it be good with Dogma?
Yep, one of the changes in PC version.
nah fuck that, this system is too interesting, alot more than I thought. Good to know thanks. Game seems great so far, gonna roll with 1 fighter, 2 mages and me the strider for now
I updated GeDoSaTo and DDDA is in my whitelist, but I can't seem to get the overlay to pop up still.
DDDA || Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen

should I be buying gear or are drops aplenty and I shouldnt waste money? I havent seen any gear drop yet (if it even does)
Anyone know where saves are stored? Going to get an SSD soon and i want to back my save up instead of just relying on Steam Cloud
Steam\userdata\47591463\367500\remote
you could do that on 360 too.

Well, there are certainly no gear drops as such, outside of BBIs cursed items which you still need to purify before you can use them. You'll find new shit in chests etc, but for a good portion of the game, shops will offer effective upgrades and you should partake in 'em.
Well, this is thrilling. Exactly how long does it take to unpack?
I've had one progress bar complete - time remaining was blank throughout.
It's now doing more disk stuff. Again, no time remaining information.
All I know is that it initiated at 19:34.
Steam, please make your processes more efficient.
Thanks, I'll give it a go later. It was working for Valkyria Chronicles a week ago. Here's the entry as is in my User Whitelist file.
Code:DDDA || Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen
Other than that, I would try checking resolutions to see if GeDo is even hooked in at all. Hope it can help bud.
You need to use a program for unpacking PIRS (xbox specific container file format) files. I use a program called wxpirs for doing it. If you unpack DD_SAVEDATA_01 you'll get the actual savegame (which would be called DD_SAVEDATA). And that's what you'll use with my save tool.
I'm getting this weird effect as if colors were in 16 bits or something, banding shades heavily, which I'm not seeing in anyone else's screenshots:
I've tried with HDR on and off but no dice. Not using any outside filters or tools. Anyone knows why this might be happening? I have a GeForce 960 if that helps.
Everybody's game is like that (color banding), it's just how the game engine is. Seems like maybe you have your brightness higher which would make it stand out more.I'm getting this weird effect as if colors were in 16 bits or something, banding shades heavily, which I'm not seeing in anyone else's screenshots:

Yup, exact same thing happened to me lolWhy are unpausable cut scenes a thing in this game? Tried to pause part of the intro and skipped it instead.
Massive fail capcom.
Now I have to watch the intro on YouTube thanks to some idiot thinking it's still acceptable for the Start button skipping major scenes with no prompt or warning.
Nice!Update my arctool to support Dragon's Dogma PC:
http://www.tzarsectus.com/tools/ARCtool.rar
http://www.tzarsectus.com/tools/ARCtool-PC-batch.rar
You can unpack and repack all the ARC files. It also lets you convert various file formats (by adding extra command line arguments. just edit the batch files, or add it when running the batch file in command prompt:
- TEX (-tex) Textures
- XFS (-xfs) Gameplay variables and scripts.
- LOT (-lot) Enemy definitions.
This is definitely for advanced users, so people who haven't done any modding before might get lost quickly.
I'll write more extensive documentation later along with some general information about where stuff is among the game files.
